Let your whole monitor display Dark Blue or Dark Green. Then wiggle one of your finger in front of your monitor like when you are saying "No, you can't do that". You will notice that the monitor area under your wiggling influence will be seen as light blue or green. What caused this effect? And why is it more noticable with some colors (using black or white don't produce anything noticable)? Tested using 800x600, 32 bit, 60 Hz & 85 Hz. Thanks a lot!

this phenominon(?) happens because your monitor is constantly being refreshed and as you wiggle your finger between you and it you begin to notice the times when your monitor is black. as to what actualy is happening in your visual cortex i am clueless, for now.
Your wrong, sorry to say. This is happining all due to Atomic physics. When you wiggle your finger you are emitting sub-atomic particels into the particles that create the color on the mononitor. This interfears with the other particles hence causing a varience in color. If you don't believe me read some books on the "Cathode Ray Tube" then you will find the answer. ---Stephan Dalal---
You're all wrong: that happens because you have too much time on your hands... Get it, hands? Oh boy... the irony... Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
What sub-atomic particals do my wiggling finger emit? And what particles that create color are you refering to? Possibly electrons maybe photons?
If you've been exploring the nasal cavity, your wiggling fingers can indeed emit the mysterious booger particle...
If you've been wiggling your finger in your bum then it can also emit a stange odor. Possibly in the form of stinkyoilods?
