I saw those movies. If you're into trippy stuff like that see Memento and DOnnie Darko.

    Best rock soundtrack: Titan A.E.

Best techno: Hackers (i'll give ya that one)

    Best instrumental/choral:
Toss up between Dust Brothers' Fight Club Soundtrack
and K-PAX soundtrack (awesome crystalline techno ambient stuff - VERY different from anything out there.)

(BTW, I'm new here! Hi all!)

Seen 'em. If there's a good movie, there's a damn good chance I've seen it.

Fight Club also has a good soundtrack.

Heaven Scent will forever remind me of Groove, that movie severely changed me for quite a while. Requiem for a Dream has a kick ass soundtrack, Pi is good too, a little more d&B, Waking Life has a good score, Memento, America Beauty, the theme from Unfaithful, and of course, Shrek!

Lol, that's all I got for now!

    The Lion King
    Romeo and Juliet
    A Beautiful Mind
    Shrek
    Gladiator
    The Wind and The Lion
    Anastasia
    Beauty and the Beast
    Schindlers List
    Waking Ned
    Oscar and Lucinda
    Sleepy Hollow

I could go on forever. I only like classical soundtracks. With the exception of Romeo and Juliet and Shrek (i like these bcoz they have amazing classical bits!)

Yes, it was, and it still is! The moulin rouge soundtrack has a few "Shit pieces" which are the dancey filth ones....ugh. But all in all, it is a great soundtrack.

    A problem with pulp fiction

They wanted to use the Neil Diamond version of "Girl, You'll Be a Woman Soon" & the request was denied. So they used a cover --bad -- very bad. ruined the hole movie.

best use of pop music (& one of the first) "Mean Streets".
