Afghanistan was a Soviet ally. It was the religious fundies who were anti- the godless. Those were the ones who were trained by the US and Co. Not all Afghans were on their side, which is why they imported more fundies from places like Saudi Arabia.

Not a hypocrite. I just think DiamondHearts was mistaken in assuming that the moderators treat anti-Jewish posts differently to anti-black or anti-Muslim.

"You seem to be a most illiberal Liberal." I'm not even sure what a Liberal is. Same goes for all the other political pigeonholing terms bandied about. They mean absolutely nothing to me. We have a two party system in this country and a preferential voting system which guarantee's only one of those two parties can ever win. So I looked over the policies of those two parties and chose the most sensible one.
