until you feel the radiation melting the skin and metal screeching of all the "mind's creations" crushing your body from the nuclear wind rising into the air pressure change boiling your blood...
I chose a moon, Europa.. I love it. It's nice and quiet there and there will at last be some snow. I haven't made a snowman in ages.. Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
until you feel it on your own skin and you see your family dying slowly of nuclear poisoning, one by one peeled skin like paper falls away from the numb body, one by one organ failing, ears becoming deaf, eyes making you blind, in darkness and emptiness, devoid of voices of your loved ones...death comes crawling
How about Pluto...? It sounds like a dog, and it's really really cold, and about the size of Great Britain... It's actually not even a planet. It's really an asteroid.
there is no snow there. there was no snow to begin with. and now since the nukes arrived...there is no water either or anything reminding of Europa. The molten rock radiates heat above your comprehension, above what you can bear, above what you can feel again...because the body you once knew so much has turned to dust, across the space its floating.
good luck running (15,400km/58.6days) km/day in the thin line of shade to avoid the scorching 700F and -300F coldness Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
I'd go there, or maybe just Mars. There is a very good chance of actual multi-celled beings on Mars. Those rovers that NASA and Europe sent will probably not find anything; after performing a few tests on earth, they can't even find signs of life on our planet!
