One thing comes to mind, it's actually a quote from Babylon 5. Nay, two quotes. I believe them to be true.

It is telling that this kind of attack, which I condemn, is the worst of its kind in Israel while Israel continues to kill skids, oops, i mean, mistakenly bombs minors and the death toll is disproportionately high on one side...

 

There can be no proportion for life, humans are not dead weight rocks, and there is no justification in taking one, ever, except when acting in a proportional self defense.

 

Eight Israelis are killed, and the world stops turning. Palestinian kids are killed on purpose by the IDF daily, yet crickets chirp.

both official governing bodies have officially approved military actions that kill civilians and children I have no respect for the leaders of both sides.

 

There is a difference though. One side routinely targets women and children while the other side does make an attempt to target militants...

It is as if Jewish victimhood is not heard, but it clearly is. In fact both sides victim status is acknowledged by much of the world. One side however receives incredible sums of money to buy weapons. Does that make the young Israeli Jews who were killed yesterday less victims? Of course not.

And for a Jewish person to use that 'nobody wants them near hes [sic] house' argument shows a lack of awareness of Jewish history. Or a lack of learning from it. Russia, Germany, even the USA etc.

The smugness that went into that phrase on your part has been aimed at Jews too by the people who hated them most.

no, not at all. the BBC even twisted the news reports to make it look like as if israel attacked palestinians in jerusalem.

but jews were never precieved as victims. nobody really wanted them near their house, thats why even hitler wanted them to leave germany to israel.

Here in the USA, 2007 it is the Palestinians that are never perceived as victims. Nobody wants Palestinians near their house.

Here in the USA 7 dead Israeli Jews matter more than 100 dead Palestinians do. The circumstances don't matter.
