"The Monroe County Sheriff's Office says a meteorite was stolen sometime between Tuesday night and Wednesday morning from a display at a gathering of amateur astronomers on West Summerland Key."

lying can be deduced using the "truth" test or the truth serum.

That was actually a alien waiting to escape! It finally made its move and got away clean.

$10,000 for a 99 gram meteorite sounds a trifle inflated on price. Maybe the owner wants to collect the insurance and buy himself a pile of meteorites online for half that price and pocket the rest?

I liked the story about the kryptonite meteor. Examining a meteorite a while back, they found it's makeup the same as that of kryptonite in one of the (Chris Reeves) Superman films.

It wasn't a meteorite, it was a sleeping horta.
