We had ferocious land hurricanes all across the state last night, and across the whole SE. 33 dead was the last count I heard. Wicked weather indeed for February. Feels more like April outside.
Then we have a sleet storm. Now say that with a Daffy Duck accent. Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
presently: Kentucky this morning i packed up and left michigan (east of Flint) at 2am during an Ice storm with unplowed roads for Kentucky. Once we got south of Detroit the roads were finally clear - too clear in fact. To stir up some excitement we promptly located and destroyed a feeding possum, in turn destroying the pretty undercarriage bumper thingy of the car - which we had ample time to check on after taking the detour that led us around the washed out expressway somewhere near Van Buren Ohio. Thankfully, once in Kentucky its been muddy and green, somewhere in the 50's and disgustingly humid. Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
I actually had someone tell me that if you run over a possum you are supposed to stop and see if there are any babies in its pouch. Therefore, any possum I hit is gonna be male so I don't have to check.
18C/6C, Sunny and dry; we have enough fresh water for the next 3 months, after that it's recycled seawater for us.
Better than recycled sewage like some places. Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! It's STILL snowing here and may not let up until tomorrow. Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!

I live in Nashville Tennessee. We are having insane unseasonable weather this year.... it was almost 80f yesterday :bugeye:. It's supposed to be February. We were nailed by a bunch of tornadoes & strong storms last night. No damage in the city itself, but there was quite a bit of destruction elsewhere (Jackson, Memphis, Columbia). I'm sure it made the news --- I think around 50 people died. It's been in the mid 60s today too.........and it supposed to go down 33f tonight LOL. Tropical storms followed by freezing cold......gotta love it.
