No one seems to have this thing figured out. The bets are all over the place. Do you care? Who is your favorite? Any bets? Not me. I'm staying out of this one. how did i know that this would happen. SPORTS ARE A FORM OF CORUPTION!! sure, some like rugbee and football aren't bad, but the U.S's football causes enough gambling and such to be a form of corruption
says you! Both my husband and I are in football pools at work. He bought 4 $5 squares and I have 1 $10 square. My numbers are 7 (Pats) and 4 (Giants), his are 0 (Pats) and 7 (Giants).
LOL people actually watch that boring game called football? Soccer is the truest and most exciting sport. Over 2 billion watch the World Cup. How many watch the Superbowl? Not me.
Nice. I'm happy for Strahan. Only watched the fourth and it was pretty good. Wish I'd put a thousand on the giants :bawl:
About 100 million. Last night over 200 million watched a regular season NBA game for the second time this year (Chinese viewers watching Yao vs. Yi Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!).
NY won 17-14. I'm waiting for people to start blaming W. Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! http://hotair.com/archives/2008/02/03/super-bowl-xlii-open-thread/
That play where Manning shook the would-be sack surrounded by dudes tugging on his jersey and tossing it out to Tyree where he lept up and barely caught the ball, falling down with his arms still up in the air was the play of the night. They showed they wanted it with that last run with Manning and Tyree not giving up on that play. - N
This 18-1 season by the Patriots won't even be remembered in 20 years now. They needed that win! Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
i'm not blaming the bush i am blaming for one thing the refs the giants did not deserve to play in the superbowl
Some people think the outcome will effect the election--that the "Patriots" lost so the real "patriots" (Republicans) will lose the election. I don't know about all that...
Yeah, that and Toomer's catch of that 35 yard pass several minutes before were two of the sporadic moments of glory amidst several hours of really ugly gameplay. Plus, as sad as it is to say, the Pats were playing like shit all night and didn't really deserve to win.
Let's see. First they would neutralize Brady by blitzing and constantly applying pressure. Brady is a good quarterback only when he has a lot of time to set and throw. He is one of the slowest throwers in the NFL. Next they would neutralize Moss and the other receivers through superior coverage downfield. Third, they would get pissed at Randy Moss' hotdogging after his touchdown catch near the end of the fourth quarter. Anything you want explained, Echo3Romeo?
