I have issues with both. But I don’t think you can really compare prostitution with the porn industry (though there are similarities).

It is a horrible thing to imagine. I have never come across one woman that has had a positive opinion of prostitution, and I seriously doubt any woman would work as a prostitute in order to pay their way through university, the very suggestion would be considered an insult. Can I ask if you have you ever spoken to women about prostitution?

In this thread it has probably just been men that have stated prostitution should be legalised, however its strange that when asked if they would be happy with their own family and friends becoming prostitutes they go all quiet – these are guys that try to pass prostitution off as a respectable profession.

Yes, prostitution should be legal. Who women choose to have sex with, and how they choose to be compensated for it, is their business - and theirs alone.
