My son turned 17 today and I just want to weep. Where did my baby go???

As soon as I hear a song from the 80s on the 'oldie' channel, I'm gonna sit in my car and wail. :bawl:

Stiffness and soreness from an overly-ambitious workout.

    Happy birthday to your son.

Heart attacks, arthritis, medications, peeing all night long at times, doctors visits, geriatric wards, not being able to see as well, not being able to hear as well and not being able to get a hard on!! that last one really sucks!

If you're older than 60 you should let Fraggle know.

I was watching the news the other day and an elderly man died in a fire. What age is elderly? What age is senior citizen?

I think you will always be young in your heart Cosmic, perhaps confounded by the chains that bind you, for that matter bind all of us.

I feel old.. simply because people no longer regard me as a child.. but still refuse to listen to my ideas.. (only being concerned with my studies etc)....

    Deteriorating health.

Lots of things, hearing loss and lack of physical resilience.
I'm 45. At 38 I still felt invincible, looked and felt young, went out with a gorgeous young woman, same weight and build as when I was 25.
Turned 40, hated it, middle age was sneaking up.
It's taken nearly 5 years but I'm quite comfortable with being an older guy now but staring down the barrel of getting old doesn't thrill me.

The aging body is the killer though, I'm still very active and fit but just throwing a ball with the kids can lead to several days of sore muscles.

My oldest turned 18 in December. I was younger than he is now when I started going out with my wife.

When you never hear the "songs" of your times being played on the radio that's when you really know that your old! I remember songs from the late 40's that I never hear on the radio any longer. But I adapted and enjoyed music from the 50's. 60's and 70's that I enjoyed because there was still some great music being played. However in the late 70's that all changed and I really didn't enjoy that punk junk or the techno crap. Music then just passed me by and I really don't enjoy much of this "music" I hear today at all. I try to enjoy it and there are a few groups that do appeal to me like U2, Slipknot, the original group for they wear masks now and don't sound the same at all to me.
