    Can you think of anything?

If not ,why not? Why don't people in general like to be average at things?

Surely, in general we are just average at most thing so are we predisposed to be disappointed with ourselves? Or are we just delusional that we are better than average?

How do you know this is how they feel? Or is it how you feel?

Well they don't seem to mind doing averagely at things, they just don't want to be crap.

No, I'm extremely perfectionist. I hate doing averagely at anything.

I did the best I could do and tried for perfection to insure those I did work for they would be very satisfied with a job well done. Trying to do your best at what you do I suppose would be striving for perfection on its own. I always say that there's really no such thing as perfection because what is perfect today becomes obsolete tomorrow so your never going to ever do anything perfectly, only the best you can with what you have. No matter what is made or done there's always something someone can find that is imperfect with it. There's always going to be someone who can do things better or is smarter than you.

According to Einstien's relativity, an average is another man's A".

I think if you are average at something, you want to be better than average. Yet if you are better than average, you want to be average so that you can fit in. Humans always think the grass is greener on the other side of the fence!

The following is a loser's attitude.
I would rather be a genius than well liked. It is more important to like yourself than be liked by others.

BTW: Most of the very intelligent people I know (including myself) are well liked.

Only losers you do not want as friends put a person down for being intelligent.

The only genius I knew personally was a high school classmate. He was not one of the "In-Crowd" and was not known for having a lot of friends. He was very content with the few good friends that he had and seemd to be a happy person.
