ABC cut Dennis Kucinich, Mike Gravel and Duncan Hunter from its prime-time debates tomorrow. They should cut Ron Paul, Fred Thompson, and Bill Richardson too. None of these guys has a chance in hell of winning.

ABC says candidates left out of the debates failed to meet benchmarks for their support that were outlined to each campaign prior to the Iowa caucus.

FOX is sponsoring a debate Sunday that excludes Paul and Hunter. So much for FOX being a "right wing network".

The ABC debate will be live and for 3 hours. Yawn...

Kucinich is a democrat who sees UFO's.

Gravel is a virtually unknown democrat.

Republican Duncan Hunter has some good ideas but not enough money/support.

Ok, I have heard of the UFO guy. And I could pick him out of a crowd, but I only know him as the UFO guy.

That's all you need to know. He's a whack-job like Ron Paul and won't go anywhere.

well, in the grand scheme of things, I think they have already gone quite far and have accomplished much in their lives.
And I'm voting for Ron Paul.

Well, good luck with that. You will be among a group of overly-caffeinated wingnuts.

"Paul is a candidate whose supporters celebrate terrorist Guy Fawkes, spam online polls, irritate the holy hello out of bloggers who point out their candidate’s obvious flaws, and who has become an empty vessel into which everyone from brothel owners to true libertarians to leftwing anti-American agitators and assorted isolationists have poured their own political hopes and dreams. Paul is where the paleo right and the anarcho left meet for drinks.

The reality is that Ron Paul is a pro-life libertarian who runs as a Republican hawk in his Texas district when it’s convenient but who blames America for pretty much every bad thing that happens in the world, who votes against pork even while writing it into federal budgets and who accepts donations he doesn’t need from the racists at Storm Front. But try telling that to his supporters and you’re met with a wall of noise."

Which is kind of said, because it is a typical example of MSM missinformation.

    UFO =/= alien spaceship

The next time the question of media bias comes up, you might want to refer back to this state of affairs.

You are not the only one who knows nothing of Kucinich except that he's the "UFO guy". At the same time, if you take one of those online issue comparison surveys - the ones that match you up with the candidate whose views most resembles your own - the odds are pretty good that Kucinich will turn up as a better match than, say, Ron Paul. This is (according to the stats kept on those sites) a common occurrence.

So the situation is a bit strange, no?

What do you think the ratio would be, between those who regard Paul as the Creationist tax wingnut, and those who regard Kucinich as the guy who sees UFOs ?

They should include everyone. As Kucinich pointed out today, the airwaves are owned by the people.

Let the media control your voting habits. And let the Iowa caucus results change your candidate as well.

There's a reason why television have always been called idiot boxes. People refer back to the old days as being so great and that's when that phrase was used the most. Now that everyone is so brainwashed and lets the TV do the voting for them, the phrase is rarely ever said.

I find it amusing that when I was a kid, back when my dad was a thinking man, he'd tell me not to watch so much TV and that it was bad for me. He was also an avid reader reading nothing but non-fiction historical and war books, and when he would watch TV, it'd he Discovery Channel, History Channel, etc. Now that I'm older, he's the slave to the TV (FOX news and staged reality TV) and now I'm the one telling him to not watch it so much, lol. Oh yeah, and he reads less, but when he does read, it's fictional war books this time around, heh. F'in retard.

Seeing a UFO is nothing more than seeing something flying and not knowing what it is. It is not aliens. Probably everyone has seen a UFO.

All he had to do was call it a moving, guiding Star of Bethlehem instead of a UFO and it woulda been alright. Then he woulda had the whacky CCR backing him after that.

I would ask you to consider that you're dealing with someone who believes in an invisible, all-powerful thing that you can apparently talk to, and that grants favors if you stroke it just right. And this person calls Kucinich weird for having seen something flying in the sky that he could not identify.

    Perspective.

You can't really fault the masses for seizing on this sort of trivia. The bizarre or unusual always will attract the most attention, and the simple fact is most people have no idea who Kucinich is, just as many people know nothing about a certain Howard Dean, beyond his fist-pumping scream...

Wow. I'm sold. Online polls. Those are accurate.

I mean, are you really trying to argue that Kucinich deserves more support than he has? The guy is on the Left-wing fringe of the Democratic party. I would no more expect him to do well in a national contest than I would someone like Tancredo.

    Well said.

It's utterly amazing what the real wing-nuts(CCR's) view as crazy.

Sandy...... you are by far the most ignorant person I've ever had the displeasure of engaging on a message board.
