Why dont we just try something like this:
    - Take the day of reckoning (aka the birth) for the federation.
    - Take the day of reconing for the New Repulick aka Rebellion (The Second Death Star).
    - Then make the Two armies switch place and the start of each of the battles.

That way its interesting and no " Good Guy " become a " Bad ' guy

I believe Kittamaru and Saquist keep berating the Ent-E for its poor design.

I'm just throwing this out there.... But couldn't this thread be submitted to Guiness World book of Records as the longest thread ever, in terms of replies and or date?

Thoughts? If there is a longer one post a link cause I would love to see it.

Some of the buttons (on the TOS Enterprise control panels) in the original series footage had in fact been jelly beans; in fact, at the end of filming one of the original episodes, Shatner ate one, remarking "I've been wanting to do this for hours."

Like the ridiculous phaser strip placement? The overall shape is lovely (perhaps even the lovliest), but for a ship that is supposed to be a hybrid between a heavily armored battleship + scientific explorer, it sure has some bad design features.

Personally, I'm a big fan of the Nova Class:

    And, obviously, the Defiant:

Uhm... I love the Ent-E. I think the Ent-D looks like a bloated space whale to be honest... but I guess that's just because of how long it was on screen.

I sort of agree with the whole Ent-D design, now that you've mentioned it, it does look like a bloated whale.

Yes, in my opinion. The Ent-E looks more proporsionally correct.
