HALO- there is a place here in tx that has floating lights. its in a town called marfa. ive never been there but ive seen plenty of footage of them. the local news around here go out and film them every now and then. but its not ufos or indian spirits. its pretty much been explained as "earth lights" these are beleived to be caused by geologic stresses in the rocks that ignight gases escaping from the ground. as for where id like to go, AMSTERDAM. sluts & weed baby.

Yeah that's it. From the descriptions I read I thought it was just fireflies or something. So would Marfa be like a giant stove waiting to go boom? With all the gas and the possibility of igniting wouldn't people be scared to go there?

Heeey, glad to see Canada's on some people lists (*cough cough* Nebula?)

I wanna go backpacking across Canada first, because I want to breathe in the fresh Rockies air, then descend into the dust filled air of our wonderful Prairie provinces. Then, tour the Atlantic provinces, absorb some culture, then isolate myself in the territories, just like Farley Mowat, the coolest scientist ever.

Then, it's a 10 year trip to islands in the South Pacific, then buying a burnt piece of rubble from NYC, go yak-riding in Russia, canoeing in Australia, surfing in Tokyo, and camping in Greece.

Pooh to monuments and statues, I wanna see the sun set from different horizons, and watch the stars turn from thousands of different locations.

    Now, what should we pack?

    I suggest spray paint.

I like to leave my mark.

    Clean underpants. Lol, of course.

Camping equipment. Sleep under the stars, man.

    Lighters, matches, kerosene, gasoline...anything flammable.

What's better than sitting beside a blazing campfire during a crisp night chill?

    Marshmellows, for the fire.

My guitar, for some comfort during the homesick days. Can you imagine...a sky so star-studded it looks like a maniac went nuts with a rhinestone gun, a friendly campfire casting a warm island of light within a mysterious dark forest, and the soft melodies of a guitar wafting between tree branches like a sweet aroma? ahhh...*breathes a sigh of pure contentment*

Sounds like my idea of camping. Been here and done this. Only I like the streams. So what to do? Take the 12 string, the lantren, the tent, and the jams. If it gets quiet you can alway listen to the sound of the stream flowing by.

And plenty of food to cook and eat. And don't forget the coffee. I ain't human till I have had my morning coffee...
