    If it's on a webpage:

    Richt-click the image, click Properties, triple-click (no, seriously) the bit to the right of where it says 'Address (Url)'.

    Then right-click and click Copy.

    Then:

    Create your Sciforums post by typing [ IMG ] without the spaces, then Paste the link you've just copied, then finish with [ /IMG ] again without any spaces,

    eg, from Exhumed's post:

    [ IMG ]http://zmagsite.zmag.org/Oct2007/images/chomsky1A.JPG[ /IMG ]

    but with no spaces in the IMG tags.
