work related.

The boss wants everybody to use the same program for graphics/vector graphics to make the panels for publications and such.

She now discovered it will be shit expensive to switch to adobe CS3 for all. Even with academic license.

I started googling.

I found one open source vector graphics program: Inkscape.
As for graphics program I found of course: GIMP.

will test them out a bit.

Any other good programs out there that you can put on official computers that are for free and legal?

basically they could just all photoshop4 for their stupid panels. They are just too lazy to learn how to make tidy panels with an ancient version of a standard program.

How do they check if your using a legal version of photoshop anyways?

Maybe you can find a keygen that allows you to change the registered owner of the program.

I asked some IT students I know and they highly recommend GIMP...
