That's it, I'm pissed! Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! Some time ago I ordered a size-M t-shirt from a US web shop. When it arrived it occured to me that the US M-size is almost equal or identical to the L-size in Europe (I have bought M-size t-shirts from the UK, Germany, Poland and Lithuania). So today I decided to be smarter and order an S-size t-shirt in the same shop, but they don't even offer S-size shirts! Instead they offer 3 different sizes of L-shirts (L, XL, XXL). If M-size is our L-size, I don't even want to imagine what an XXL size looks like. :jason:
Cheaper that way, for the same reason that most band shirts are men's large. A small person can wear a large shirt, but not vice versa.
Not if that person wants to look good. I don't know about you, but I'm not into that african oversized gangsta clothes style.
I find the opposite problem here in England . They dont always have shirts large enough. Im only 5"10' 13 stone. Its a Joke, Its like do they expect everyone to like shirts half way up their forearms? God knows how actual big guys get clothes.
I can see why that would be annoying if you have a slim build. I prefer the "babydoll" t-shirts when I get t-shirts, or some men's large shirts. Anything else just looks dumpy. The problem is that women's clothes are apparently made for 12 year olds or 200lb overweight chicks. I don't have stick arms and I do have a large-ish chest, but I am not that thick 'round the middle!
Yeah! I think the point to see is that the average American is larger than the average Brit. Clothes manufactures make their clothes close to average size they can get away with, to maximize in the door - straight out again sales.
that is the worst. It fits fine as long as you don't move. As soon as you move the buttons gape wide open.
Yep, or you end up with something that's uncomfortable and really tight. And why are all d-cup bras ugly?
I have bought girls trousers and t-shirts to get my size if the shop lacks an appropriate size mens design. By the way girl clothes usually are more stylish. I sometimes get the feeling that most men are truck drivers, no offense intended, from the offer in shops. But maybe that's a local problem here in Latvia.

You might want to look away now, but I just thought of the time when I bought extra small pants(underware) thinking they were extralarge, because we dont usualy have extra small sizes. Anway im a trolly dasher type - you know , see it, bung it in, pay for it, get out a have a cig. Anyway I wore a pair of them. Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! Never again!:bawl:
You would be surprised. I live in america. Fat people are everywhere here! In fact, a study showed that almost 60% of america is overweight or obese and almost 40% of the minors as well (which is a percentage gradually rising). Its our diet. I'm just glad im not in that 60%.
It's not an African trend; rather, it is American. Overwhelming odds are that the average African would not be dressed in American hiphop regalia. And if you are going to say only African-Americans do it, then you are mistaken as well. I know a great deal (unfortunately) of white and asian people who dress in that atrocious manner.
Maybe YOU should hit the gym and bulk up, tiny. Ever think of that? Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
i think he was comparing american sized shirts to the dashiki(traditional african shirt fits sort of halfway between a shirt and a robe)
I don't think so. I train in martial arts for many years to be quick, stealthy and agile. Extra weight or muscles would be counterproductive.
