Why do some people get off on exploring the unknown? Are all people like this?

Most people are curious of the unknown ....just some moreso than others.

I'm extremely curious of the unknown. Space, ghosts, afterlife, etc... Sad thing I'll never get any answers. It's so interesting that there are things connected to our world, true or not, that are so far out of our reach of understanding yet in a way so close.

    That's a human trait.

The polar opposite of that is being afraid of (and killing) the unknown. That's also referred to as think-headed government thinking.

A person's curiousity concerning any topic results in their own growth, by accumulating more knowledge you obtain a better understanding of anything. It will be a very sad day if man can ever say "I have nothing more to explore", in my opinion. =/

They do so because they are bored in what they are doing or what is going on around them I'd think. Some want to just understand something that they don't know about like scientists.
