Gordon Brown: Don't say terrorists are Muslims

The actions attributed to Gordon Brown in the opening post of this thread are great examples. One of the oldest lessons in history is: don't stereotype. Another: Don't make shit up/lie (war on terror).

Nope - cant find any scans of UK newspapers from the seventies on the internet.

The terms that were used have probably been buried by bureaucrats and the PC brigades over the years and no-one cares to remembers it anymore. Just like Brown is getting rid of the word "muslim" in connection with the word "terrorism".

We all know who is responsible, so why can't we state the bloody obvious?

HANG ON - here's an old news flash told as per Browns instructions :--

"Today, a car bonb was exploded at Glasgow Airport - a man on fire was apprehended - he WAS NOT - Jewish, Sikh, Hindu, Chinese, German, English, Christian, Buddhist, Church of Scientology, Jehddi, Jehova's witness, or even a Trekky fan" ------- You get the drift??

hey Zak - You know the forms that we sometimes have to fill in regarding our ethnicity. Y'know the ones, sometimes attached to job applications (Please tick if you are White, Irish, Chinese, Carribean, Pakistani and so on) In future I'm gonna tick all boxes since it doesn't matter anymore - Lol. Can't mention Muslim, but the beauracrats want to know if you're Black/White etc. They can sod off!

yeah those forms are kind of annoying espicially as you say the ethnic section, usually for this part i tick other. I think on some of the forms there is a religion question though.

This move by brown should reduce the number of misquotes and stereotypes prevalent in the west. but not by much , still a long way to go.

Get a clue Mr. Spock. Just because you are muslim doesn't mean you are a terrorist, and just because you are white doesn't mean you're not.
