You can't post your answer because it would be a bullshit overload. You seem to be in love with making controversial statements in every single thread, but never decide to support them with content.

And don't tell me you're too busy, because your 40 posts a day wouldn't indicate so.

No one is advocating socialism or communism. Medicare is already a working model of what we should extend to everyone. The US health care system doesn't work. It provides profit to corporations and inadequate or no health care to many. National health care works in most civilized nations, Germany, Britain, France, I think even China.

Our infant mortality is horrendous. Horrendous "Americans" kill 1.5 MILLION American babies per year.

This is from the CDC, you really should check these things prior to posting inaccurate information or at least citation from a legitimate source.

"A total of 225,534 infant deaths were reported in the United States during 1995--2002."

I was refering to 13th or 14th DOWN the list among industrial nations.

The thing we're good at is trauma. As far as staying healthy, well, good luck pal.

And, let's make sure all those premie babies, babies born into the 'ICU' and unwanted babies are born. Let them linger in misery. Doctors need the pratice; Big Pharma needs the cash.

Then they can die in a foreign land in an illegal war. (GWB. He's one gutsy Chicken Hawk:runaway:. Let's stand behind him. Like a Marine Lieutenant.)
    Post adolesence corporation abortion blues.

(Sorry 'bout the tangent here, but I just have to get this off my chest.)
I used to say "Adoption is the answer", But wanna know something? I've found out it's 'potentially' less expensive to do 'in vitro' than adopt. There is something deeply wrong with that. Then there's "Oh, I want my baby back" thing

I just read a review on Sicko.

"It’s a skillful performance by Moore, but my bet is that most viewers won’t be fooled. First, In Moore’s grand allusions to French welfare programs, he conveniently fails to mention their last elections, in which the socialist candidate was trounced by a conservative, who wants to reduce if not eliminate many of the “free lunches.” One is left to wonder why the French would vote overwhelmingly to change what Moore describes as the perfect system.

The French discovered the hard way what Americans understand in their gut: there’s no such thing as a free lunch. Somebody pays somehow, and government services are usually twice as expensive and half as efficient as private services. And that’s not even to mention the corruption that can be hidden in layers of inefficient bureaucracies.

Fraud within our $275 billion Medicare program was last estimated (when it was a smaller program) at over $50 billion a year. Throw in the entire health care industry, estimated in 2003 to cost $1.67 trillion dollars (National Health Care Anti-Fraud Association) and one can only begin to imagine the variations and amounts of fraud that could be hidden within a bureaucracy with no bottom line"....

So we have learned that Americans foot the bill for drug research and pay the price. Next time your laying in a hospital bed and your meds come read the label and when it say 'MADE IN U.S.A' just refuse it.

    Make a stand.

The liberals love Mikey Moron. Most of our media is liberal. Therefore they will praise Mikey Moron's crockumentaries.

Oh shut up... Sandy, you are simply spurting propagandist bullcrap that you heard from someone else, a.k.a. you aren't forming your own opinions. The moment you started screaming "He's a liberal! Ahh!!!" you admitted you ignorantly hold an "us vs. them" mindset (which has caused more problems in the world's history than probably any other thing).

How the hell is criticizing a president during a war "unpatriotic" and "treason"? Cite where the hell the law claims speaking against the president during a time of "war" is treason. Please. Tell me. It doesn't. Although I do see a little thing called Freedom of Speech. But of course, that's a cliche cop-out move.

I still don't understand, though, how criticizing a president during a time of "war" is unpatriotic... I could have sworn one of the main principles this country was founded on was the right for anyone to criticize their leaders and government without fear of arrest or death... even during a time of "war".

If the government or leaders or whatever are committing unconstitutional, horrendous acts, or acts that you disagree with, you have the full right, privilege, and responsibility to speak against it.

Oh, and constantly saying the words "Mikey Moron" and "crockumentaries" doesn't exactly make you look all that smart, more so just a biased, immature individual. Name calling, especially against those who aren't even capable of defending themselves (in the fora) isn't really effective. At all.

And what exactly is wrong with free healthcare? It works in most other places... and what is wrong with providing people with medical aid for free? Why should people pay to be alive? Why not everyone work together to help everyone? Is that somehow "evil" or something?

And you said we are fighting "evil Muslim terrorists." Why did you add Muslim? Terrorists aren't only Muslim ... and how exactly are we fighting them? A major contributor to "terrorist organizations" is Saudi Arabia, our good friend. And since we have been bombing the middle east for decades, for no real reason, knocked off democratically-elected president's for our own, puppet presidents, have taken sides with Sunni's and Shi'ites, helping to stir up sectarian violence, have forced Palestinians off their lands and created a Jewish State for no honest reason, have backed up Israel even when it has attacked other countries for no honestly acceptable reasons other than "Oh... well.... if we don't attack them... someday, possibly... maybe... we think... they might attack us!!" a.k.a. bullshit. We armed the terrorists before to fight the Soviet Union. Why? I don't really know... nothing is evil about Communism or Socialism (in theory)... sure, the USSR was a pretty bad place and all... but arming people to revolt against them is pretty dumb (and an act of war, I'd say...)

The reason most people in the Middle East VOLUNTEER to join the Taliban and other terrorist organizations is because otherwise they would get no food, shelter, or education because everyone has screwed things up over there big time.

To be anti-bush is not unpatriotic, or else over 60% of the United States is filled with non-patriots (which, I know for a fact includes many Veterans and current soldiers)... and criticism of government is why Democracy is so great (but not perfect... at all.)

Destroy evil Muslim terrorists at any costs? So you are willing to use nuclear weapons?

I don't understand how making fun of our president is pathetic... granted, its a cheap shot and much too easy, and in that respect it is pathetic. But otherwise, it is not. At all. Americans have made fun of current and past presidents for many years, stand-up comics or otherwise. And I think Bush embarrassed himself, Moore just showed us all the footage in his movies and reminded us when showing his decisions.

    Go Micky Moron!

According to the Declaration of Independence there are even times we are called on to overthrow our Gov't.

As an aside: many years ago, the 'Nam era, someone/folks took the "D of I", removed the references to King George(!) out and presented it to passers by as a petition. No one would sign it, claiming it 'sounded like communist propaganda'

Anyway, I think it was Ben Franklin (one of the those guys anyway) who said--Those who would give up freedom for security deserve neither.-- Don't know how exact of a quote that is, but it's close.

Come on Sandy, admit it, you aren't a real person. You're a sock puppet of/for Pat Robertson.

Pat, don't you know it's wrong to exploit sex by using some clip art photo of a "hottie" to spread your fundamentalist propaganda.

Oh, and Pat, Christian Fundamentalism has it's terrorists too.
It's just you guys have power, use briefcases, and the IMF.
Third world "Fundies" don't have much power so they resort to "asymmetrical warfare" e.g. Go to the town square (or the "Green Zone") and blow themselves up.
Or fly a plane into a bastion of financial power, assuming of course that GWB wasn't in on that one.

Bye the by, "Micky Moron" admits, nay, is proud of, the fact he takes a stand on the issue of the movie de jour.
No phony Fairness and Balance. 'This is what I think and here's why'.

"Hey Micky your so fine, you're about to blow OUR minds, Hey Micky! Hey Micky" (y'all know how the claptrack goes)

Ps, Our health care system does suck!!!

Fox News isn't the best of news sources, it is littered with Right wing bias, as proven by FAIR. Also, they don't like the fact that Moore uncovered a tiny tidbit about one of their head guys.

Bill O rielly also has been proven to be the most biased, even labelled Misinformer of the year...

Do "most of us" a favor and just speak for yourself, please.

You know, I'm always tickled by the right-wing's tendency to attack people personally. "Mikey Moron?" If his work is so "full of cr@p," then why don't you simply refute it? Why the need to always make it personal?

I've noticed the same thing during the recent presidential debates. I've yet to hear in the Democratic debates have any of the candidates even mention one of the Republican candidates by name, let alone say something derogatory about them. But in the Republican debates, they are practically tripping over themselves to sling a barb at Clinton or Edwards.

All of this name-calling is not only unneccesary, it's a sign of a weak mind. But I digress…,

Our health care system is actually quite good, so long as you can afford it. But if you can't afford insurance, you are completely screwed. If your insurance company won't pay, you have to; and if you don't have the money, you are likewise completely screwed.

So basically, it's no money, no health care. That's the system you are so proud of?
