but we need tests, example my son can drive on his own next year, and he mentally isnt ready, there has got to be stricer rules about who gets into a car and drives of

excuse me, but i have been in cars with my husband who can stop if a child runs into the road, because i have seen him do it, yesterday he was driving and these boys were playing football and he knew the kid was going to run into the road because he was looking where he was going.

Not really, this excludes the proper neurological mechanisms to drive.

 

EXACTLY!!!!!!!!!!!!:bravo: I have had to do it alot of times. If you are aware of where you are......you arent on the highway anymore....you can see things ahead of you if you watching...like kids playing so you pass them more cautiously. If you are speeding down the street with your tunes cranked or talking on your phone.....In MOST maybe not all but MOST cases its YOUR fault........afterall like someone said kids are kids you are the adult.

 

So you can drive on whichever side of the road you want, through red lights if you want, because driving is a right that should have no restrictions placed upon it?

 

WOW, sure it is possible, i have had a kid run into the side of my car, me doing 0 to 5 mph becaue people were getting off a bus.
We must try not to have accidents ,but no one can predict every possibility,
this is a science forum you should know that.

 

No one would know if she lacked the proper faculties to drive safely had she not been tested.

Let me see if I have this straight now...
So, people have a "right" to drive, but if they do something that proves they should not have that "right", that "right" should be revoked.
We should educate peope how to drive, and if they prove that they lack the ability to drive safely, we should not grant them the "right" to.

Exactly how is that different from saying people do not have the "right", rather the "privilege" to drive?
How is it different than what we have now, and what people have been saying here?

 

Well I said even if they fail the tests we should allow it until something comes along that would cause us to revoke it.

If you do something which abuses the RIGHT to perform the action of driving then it should be regulated, but not taken away completely.

 

we have the right to travel....

in 1933... they changed it... and it became a right to walk.

and a priviledge to drive a car.


it used to be a constituional right.... to travel... including cars.


but they killed the constitution in 1933...

and since you people dont seem to care.... they have robbed you of all your constitutional rights...
and replaced them.... with priviledges and benefits.

because every person born in the usa after 1933... is made into a 14th ammendment citizen....

read the 14th ammendment... and understand... YOU HAVE NO RIGHTS.

tHIS AMMENDMENT WAS WRITTEN FOR SLAVES... who had no rights.

in 1933... they made everyone... everyone.. an ex-slave.
who has no rights.... and is given priviledges and benefits, and protection by the state.

Since March 9, 1933, the United States has been in a state of declared national emergency. In fact, there are now in effect four presidentially-proclaimed states of national emergency: In addition to the national emergency declared by President Roosevelt in 1933, there are also the national emergency proclaimed by President Truman on December 16, 1950, during the Korean conflict, and the states of national emergency declared by President Nixon on March 23, 1970, and August 15, 1971.

These proclamations give force to 470 provisions of Federal law. These hundreds of statutes delegate to the President extraordinary powers, ordinarily exercised by the Congress, which affect the lives of American citizens in a host of all-encompassing manners. This vast range of powers, taken together, confer enough authority to rule the country without reference to normal Constitutional processes.

Under the powers delegated by these statutes, the President may: seize property; organize and control the means of production; seize commodities; assign military forces abroad; institute martial law; seize and control all transportation and communication; regulate the operation of private enterprise; restrict travel; and, in a plethora of particular ways, control the lives of all American citizens.

You are so wrong, would you leave some one in charge of any dangerous machinery if they did not know how to use it? I have seen a young girl get
scalped eye brows and all, by a cotton combing roller, because she was not trained to operate it properly, she could have been killed, but any way she committed suicide some time later.
Every one should try to eliminate risk to others how, by proper training of course.
