Don't take sexist sides. Believe me being a man is no easier than being a woman. There is no, tougher than this or that.

the jungle exists with two sides coexisting. If one side dies, so does the other.

Roman fucks women that suit him, he does it for sex, not for love. So if you take sides with him, you agree to his ways of life.

Doesn't that say more about women than it does about men?

Men make women feel ashamed of menstruation because it is the one thing they will never experience. They make women feel ashamed about menstruation out of jealousy, born of the fact that their (men's) lack of a womb also means they have no control over reproduction, something that is entirely of the female domain. Men make women feel ashamed because men are weak and know they would not be able to cope with having to have a menstrual cycle and all that goes with it on a month by month basis.

And what do women do? They take the pill and skip the sugar pills ensuring they virtually put their menstrual cycle on hold, denying the men the right to create more offspring.

And even if she does take the sugar pill, ensuring the gets her period every month, she is still in the superior position to control their sex lives and deny him sex for a week in every month.

If men were to menstruate, the world would stop as you simply would not be able to cope with the cramping and PMS. You can't cope when women get it. Imagine if you had to suffer through it. It's bad enough that you treat a little head cold as though it were a terminal illness. You'd probably think you'd need an epidural just to be able to cope with the monthly contractions.

Most of all, you would never be able to cope with the very notion of childbirth, let alone be in a position where you may have to experience it.

Do you have anything to support you assertions, Bells? Why don't you ask your husband if he'd like to drip bloody, stinky fluid out of his penis 4 days a month, while behaving irrationally due to his bitch hormones spiking.

Why do you think I wrote what I did above.

Lets face it Roman, you simply would not cope with it. You would not be able to go about your daily tasks and business at the same time you leaked the 'bloody, stinky fluid out' 4 to 6 days a month. You know, since you can't multi-task and all. As for your irrationality, well that is agiven regardless, but I'd imagine the hormones would make you more so.

Men menstruating would be a national crisis. As I said, you would probably think you needed an epidural just to cope with the cramping.

Men would then have an excuse for being bitchy, emotional, bad tempered and refusing sex.

Actually many men just think it's a little bit gross.

    Two comments.

One, never trust something that bleeds for a week and doesn't die.

Two, I've heard male inmates "get their period" after being initiated to the joys or prison rape for the first time.

First line is funny, if a bit sexist.

2nd line is sick. You think having your rectum ripped open during rape is funny?

I'm not making a joke here. I heard this is how it's described from a story by some former inmate. He described it as "getting your period". It certainly seemed appropriate to this thread.

"Misandry, misandry, misandry. That's the path you've chosen."

Or something along those lines, anyway!

yeah Sam, guess we should ignore the poke in the eye you started your post off with. But go ahead you are afterall the poor little rich girl...

When my girlfriend has it i rub her belly, when she comes home from work i rub her feet, they smell like stale popcorn but i endure it. She buys me things and tells me i am great, i go shopping and do the laundry, do the cooking and the cleaning...send her off to work and then off to school...i play games and go on the internet...equal rights you know.

On closer inspection, the thread is nonsense. It's actually a bit insulting too, now that I think about it. The problem is I don't know whether the article is a bit tongue in cheek?

If men menustrated, they'd just have to fucking endure it, and learn how to work it into their daily routine. They'd have no choice, would they now? Much like men have had to endure being crippled, stomach ulcers, enlarged prostates, cystic fibrosis, shot in the front lines, bashed in the boxing ring, (and a host of other ailments more common amongst men), for centuries. The same applies to childbirth.

And this bullshit about less research being devoted to Dysmenorrhea than heart attacks... umm... duh? Heart attacks are fucking lethal. They have a high mortality and morbidity. Dysmenorrhea does not. I've never heard of an Institute against Stomach Ulcers.... does that mean that the medical establishment is biased against men?

To claim that the medical establishment is biased against women, give that so much research is put into breast cancer and cervical, is just absurd. Even in my undergraduate lectures, a significant proportion are focused on breast/cervical cancer. And female genital tract ailments receive far more time than male genital tract ailments.

And to be honest, I've never seen a man make a woman feel 'ashamed' about menustration (why would he do that?). In fact, most guys don't want to know about it, any more than the general population wants to know whether you are having a bout of diarrhea. It's unpleasant, but not shameful.
