    Welcome to scifourms, 5teve.

You will find several threads in Pseduoscience and one that is in the Astronomy section on that thought.

Why is this limited to the Solar System?

because you woldn't expect Lykan to write down all non solar sytem bodies as well, would you? What would you like? Our galaxy? known universe?
it's simple- if you don't limit yourself with solar system it would take weeks to compile a list. And we know not so much PLANETARY bodies outside our solar system. And those which we know- we don't know if they are interesting to even see. What would be better-> investigate Europa or some far away star system gas giant like jupiter where you can only observe it , not investigate it on place.

and besides- be real, we won't go outside the solar system in the next 100 years.

    cheers

What aliens are you talking about? With the technology you're talking about, it's probably the Sud'dari. Their nice aliens. Their most common dish tastes like chocolate.

Seriously though, I'd go to Pluto. I want to know why it doesn't follow the pattern of the other planets (Rock - Gas) and how it was created.

You don't think we'll get out of this solar system in the next hundred years?

I think we will get out of the solar system in the next hundred years. We'll find a way, we always find a way. But we might just see a whole lotta dark though.

I agree with Zoidberg. I believe that Humans have the capability to 'escape' the solar system within one century. Earth century of course

    Welcome to sciforums, Carrot.

Hopefully this does not come to late. The universe is expanding. Every year those places we would visit outside the galaxy get farther away. One day it may not be possible to reach our nearest galactic neighbors...

Uranus. It fascinates me for some reason it. Maybe its because it seems to often be ignored
