Great movie about Palestinian suicide bombers, made by a Palestinian exile and an Israeli. http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/paradise_now/ Trailer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B_JMjirvvqw&mode=related&search=
If Palestinians are so great, why do they have to drag the rest of us into their sordid, little lives? If they want to be a real circus they have to have elephants.
It's a great film. Well worth a watch. I like the chick Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
I think the film got funding from the Jewish Film Council or something similar. It's not political really. It's the human side of things.
If its a circus you're expecting you'll be disappointed. The first is a movie the second a documentary. Neither of them are your cup of tea.
There's also another Jewish-Palestinian film which got the short film Oscar yesterday. West Bank Story - a short comedy http://www.westbankstory.com/ http://imdb.com/title/tt0438575/ Edit : Not sure about the content , I haven't watched it yet
Sam, do you have any documetaries made about the poverty, hunger, disease and death in India? Perhaps you should try to fix all of the shitty problems in India before you try to tell others what to do and how to live? People in glass houses shoudn't be throwing stones at others. Fuck Palestinians! "Revenge is mine, sayeth the Muslims of the world." Baron Max
I didn't click your links, but I can see that you're resorting to your old tactics of depending on the thoughts and opinions of others instead of your own. "Revenge is mine, sayeth the Muslims of the world." Baron Max
Sam, I thought you might like to see some of the statistics of your lovely, wonderful India .....so that may you can spend your time helping your fellow Indians rather than worrying about the fuckin' Palestinians. Statistics for India Total population (million), 2003: 1,064.4 Population density (people per km2), 2003: 358.0 Number of rural poor (million) : 222.0 Poor as % of total rural population, 1999-2000: 30.2 GNI per capita (US$), 2003: 540.0 Population living below US$1 a day (%), 1999-2000: 34.7 Population living below US$2 a day (%), 1999-2000: 79.9 Population living below the national poverty line (%), 1999-2000: 28.6 Poverty gap at US$1 a day(%), 1999-2000: 8.2 Share of poorest 20% in nat'l income or consumption (%), 1999-2000: 8.9 Source: World Bank With all those problems in India, Sam, how do you find time to be so concerned about the fuckin' Palestinians? Or anyone else for that matter? Look to your own home before telling others how they act or live. Baron Max
Hey, you think we could start saving starving people in India by saving our ejaculate and mailing it to them?
Next on my list: Promises http://www.promisesproject.org/film.html and Gaza Strip http://www.littleredbutton.com/gaza/about.html
Sam, you can find almost exactly that in almost any place on Earth. India is a good example, too, why didn't you show list some of those same places in India instead of in the Middle East? Right there in your own hometown of Bombay, probably within walking distance of your mansion, there's disparity that's probably as bad or worse than in the Middle East, yet you seem to ignore that and point out the very same problems in the Middle East? Why? Fuck Palestinians! They could have had peace and prosperity but they chose to blow up little kids and innocent women. Fuck 'em! "Revenge is mine, sayeth the Muslims of the world." Baron Max
