billy.... there is one way to get to low earth orbit... that doesnt cost any fuel at all..... it is literally.... a free ride....

its called a BIG HELIUM / HYDROGEN balloon.

Recall we are discussing the cost of the King returning gold from space, so I assume you plan to go straight to moon in the balloon and avoid the need for high speeds*. You did say (in post 136) you could take 12 hours to get to low Earth orbit altitude instead of the rocket's 3 minutes.

There may be a serious problem with using a balloon for transport of gold from the moon, but we will defer discussion of it until you begin to show some contact with reality. To speed your return to sanity, please consider two facts:

(1) The weight of the mining and gold refining equipment your balloon can lift up to the moon on any one trip is less than the weight of gold you can load into the balloon before it begins to sink back to Earth.

(2)The balloon will need to take this equipment to the moon before it can return with any gold. Thus, once the first load of this equipment has been off loaded on the moon, the balloon will be lighter.

How will you get the now lighter balloon back to Earth? (If it just waits on the moon’s surface until the first load of gold is ready, a meteor may punch a hole in it an let the helium out.)

If this question is too stressful, take a second dose of your anti-psychotic.

Perhaps we can discuss some other small details when your insanity improves.

I am not sure as MT has not yet explained where the money for the construction of the King's artificial floating soverign island and money printing presses will come from, but perhaps he is counting on the Illuminati for the funds.:bugeye:

they can only get us to the top of the atmosphere.... where graviity is alot lower.... and where drag starts to vanish....

using small segment bodies... parts... with their own small propulsion system, which can include using the gas of the balloon... it can then move into actual space from that high position.....

the balloon... would be retractable.... roll up able.... and later deployable for re-entry.


the balloons... would never be involved in work in space....

only for launching... and for re-entry....... for a slow descent.


to get large bodies of metals from the asteriod... to earth... only requires.... directing them... with rockets..
and slowing them down... with rockets... in space....

possible breaking them up into smaller pieces... and bringing them into earth orbit....

from which we can either use in space, or attach to re-entry stuff... for dropping down to earth....

as long as the mass is slowed.... to only a few 1000 miles an hour... then its entry by gravity can be safe... for its velocity and energy level will not endanger the earth.....

air drag can reduce that speed on re-entry to 125 miles an hours...

safe enough to simply allow the masses to crash into an open desert... at that slow speed.... meaning.. the metals didnt burn up in re-entry.

THERE IS ONE..... beautiful form of rocket engine... which is best suited for use in space....

and it only hasnt been used so far, because of the danger of it expoling on a rocket at high altittude...

its the nuclear rocket.

it can use any gas as fuel....... and it is very powerful.

in this way... once in orbit.. we can build vast solar farms to collect sunlight and use that energy to run compression systems for collecting and pressureizing that gas to high pressure and storage to then use as fuel for our near earth fleet, of vehicles... built and composed of the many small parts balloon lifted into orbit.

in fact once we have our nuclear rocket powered systems running on compressed air from the upper atmsosphere.... we can then use a newer catch and retrieve system for grabing ballooned things.. and pulling them into high orbit and beyond.

we dont need shuttles... we dont need big rockets....

we just need alot of small parts that fit perfectly together.
and nuclear power.

You are not the first to dream of a just world where men work for the good of mankind. This concept has had strong appeal through out history.

Sometimes more than 1000 people with firm faith that this could and should be done have gone off to live together in utopian societies. - A small percentage of these efforts have even survived for a decade, but most collapse in less than a year.

Before you try to transform the whole world, perhaps you should try to get a few dozen people to build a model community based on "faith" instead of "reality." I would recommend that part of your selection criteria be total ignorance of the 100s of prior attempts, which have all failed, but perhaps you should not remain as ignorant of them as you could learn some things from their failures. I have not done so, but assume that if you search something like “History of utopian societies”, you will learn of about at least 100 of the more spectacular failures.

You are completely out of touch with reality (the standard definition of insanity) and I am very firmly anchored in reality. This, plus a lot of greed-driven hard work is why I went from a very poor (full-need scholarship student waiting tables and washing dishes so I could eat) to a multi millionaire.

I am not the first to observe that poverty is fundamentally too many people for the goods and services that they produce.

There is a story about two sons who each inherited half of a small fortune. One was like you and one like me. I.e. one wanted to eradicate hunger poverty etc and other wanted to get wealthy. The one like you immediately bought bread and gave it to the poor. The other bought the bakery and sold bread to become rich. In the end which did more for mankind? The one who produced nothing but a temporary and easily made relief from hunger or the greedy one who for 60 years got up at 4AM to fire up the ovens and have hot bread for sale at 6:30AM?

Faith does not end hunger, Realism and greed does.

If you wish to live in a faith-dominated society, I suggest you become a Hindu or Moslem and move to a country where those faiths are strong and dominate. As for me, I am putting much of the capital I have built up into small, early stage drug development companies, not because I want to help cure cancer, degenerative diseases, genetic diseases, etc. but because I hope that a few of these companies will not fail but become very profitable for me to have gotten in early. (I spend good part of Sundays in deep study of their various biotechnology approaches to be able to support those with more likey and important approaches.) I discovered that RNAI’s RNA interference approach was potentially a wonderful “magic bullet” and bought heavily into their stock at less than $3 more than two years ago. Now that their approach has just won the Noble prize, the stock is at $13. I have had some losses. For example, EyeTech, which developed a very magic bullet for macular degeneration seemed an ideal investment as was the first to gain FDA aproval and the shots were $1000 dollars each, every 6 weeks. Rich people would gladly pay that to keep from going blind, but a cheaper and slightly better drug came out and EyeTech no longer exists, but on average my portfolio of nearly 40 stocks has more than doubled in last two years.

Yes, I am greedy, hard working, studious and realistic, and proud of the fact that these are the characteristics that history has shown lead to the eradication of poverty, disease and hunger. History has shown where your "faith based" approach leads to also. - Look at any nation of region where faith is strong so prayer replaces hard work, ignorance (study of the faith’s text) replaces education, faith replaces reality, and above all in importance, charity and good will toward mankind has replaced greed.

For example, look where faith has made payment of interest on loans illegal and children learn to read only so they can read the faith‘s “holy text“. Or where faith compels one to feed a stray cow even if your child is hungry as the cow is some incarnation of a good spirit, etc.

Greed is the strongest force for the betterment of mankind that has every been invented! The largest and longest lasting experiment that ever tried to better mankind by faith replacing this most productive "greed force" was the USSR - a very "faith-based" society (although not faith in some god). Look what it has achieved. - Except for the natural benefits of the energy resources Russia is now exploiting, the people of that society would be starving as a direct result of the suppression of "productive greed" for decades by collective farms and public ownership of the means of production. Even at the peak of the USSR's power, half of the food for sale in Moscow's food stores came from tiny PRIVATE plots in backyards etc as these farmers were greedy and concerned with production, not workers on a salary. It was commonly said back then that: “The state pretends to pay us and we pretend to work.” - That is what your "FAITH BASED WORLD" WILL PRODUCE - AN INCREASE IN POVERTY.

Fortunately, for reasons I have already given, your concepts are so non-realistic and physically flawed that no one will even be attracted to them and the disaster they would produce for mankind is not going to happen.

None-the-less, I encourage you to try to persuade UN personnel. - Given the sorry state of the world GWB has produced, they need a good laugh. Therefore, I too wish you a good trip.
