I think you could use some different pictures of knots on balloons. Maybe some different colours.

Hmmm, Geodesic, what is the problem with the blue ones? What you suggest is not something that I can quickly change. There are many different balloon pictures visualizing the balloon example. Such as:

Well, you may also comment on the contents of the paper, instead of pictures.

The example of inflating balloon with knots tied on it has been used in the paper in order to visualize the concept for hurried readers. In fact, in many aspects, it is an imperfect example to describe the approach of this paper.
