The Solar System, the Ultimate Oopart II! God winked! Absolute proof that the solar system was designed! G.E.S. Curtis discovers in 1980 that the orbits of the planets in our solar system are non random.

The big bang theory says that the solar system is the result of a huge explosion (from nothing yet) leading to the capture of the planets and their random orbits around the sun.

What if it could be proven that there is absolutely nothing random about the orbits of the planets in our solar system at all. What if it could be shown that each was carefully placed in their exact orbits, as Curtis demonstrates that it does?

This is a death knell for Materialism, for the Big Bang theory, the Nebular Hypothesis and is proof that the solar system was created and designed!

Astounding

Truly an outstanding lack of comprehension.

For starters, orbits are elliptical, some more so, some less so. It's a thing called esscentricity. Secondly. Why choose a circle of circumference 3, totally arbitrary choice, it's not explained. Secondly, the Big Bang is a description of how the Universe is expanding. Allow me to explain, Universe != Solar System. Thirdly, the OP has no more validity than Bodes Law for guestimating planetary distances. Fourthly, you state that you are in agreement with Nortons. What specifically do you agree with in Nortons? The eccentricity, longtitude of the ascending node, greatest western elongation or something else? This equation is a simple numerical equation, no variables to plug in radii of different planets. Fifthly, Newton explains planetary orbits quite nicely, thank you. Sixthly, you'd do better to use NASA's planetery ephemerides, they are very accurate.

While I'm at it. How do you explain the numerous gas/dust clouds and masses found near young stars that look very much like collapsing clouds undergoing planetary formation. Just as expected in the 'Nebular Hypothesis'. How about extrasolar planets?

I find the site most humorus. This is not the first time that such has been attempted to "prove" the solar system was not subject to the laws of nature and physics. Religous folk would love to have a smoking gun to give some substance for their followers to believe in.

By such calculations and the interpretation you would have us believe that the solar system formation was not due to physical laws and their reactions but by the hand of some ultimate being. So, why do we have comets, asteroids, and moons? I notice that it is very suspicious that moon orbits for all the planets were not included. For if this is an arranged system then even those orbits would be effected. Had the calculations supported it it would have been crowed and splashed into the article with equal attention being payed to those arrangements also. No, it was not over looked. The support for such is not there. In otherwords it is a flawed concept and the author is aware of it.

Hello....

The fact that it is in pseudoscience should be a .... ...

Oops...I saw where the topic was....

I wonder if human beings will ever posess terra forming capabilities....in a million years with our present rate of development???

"Actually creating the solar system was quite easy, Although Pluto was a pain to hang in the right place." Quote from someone high above.

Actually I lied. The universe is what it is and all that exists in it just happens to exist not at the hands of creation of some being, but more likely either a natural conundrum, or someone didn't quite get the understanding of how to dump "real" anti-matter when it reaches critical when using it to propel in subspace.

Infact, if I keep going with this, this thread could be moved again to the SCIFI forum, and we can start adding stuff to it.

Yeah! I'm all for it!

"We have built a bridge to the moons of Jupiter"-A recent US President speaking to his wife after a boring bout of sex. She replied with "Honey I don't care, now go to bed before I give you a black eye."

This makes fun of not only Bill Clinton but also tabloid newspapers. hahaha (can you see the oozing laughter?)

Now this is a good example of what I mean by BS websites you can find on the internet.

On request of Stryder and Pollux V, who's the moderator of SCIFI, the thread goes to the SCIFI Forum.

I blame the mice myself. My plan is to travel up to Norway one day and search for Slartibartfast's signature. Then I'll have absolute, undeniable proof that we where made by an alien intelligence. Probably explains the continuous feeling I have of something, somewhere is watching me or controlling me.

Not an alien intelligence, Thed. WE are watching you.

Who are we? WE are WE! We control your posts, we control your thoughts, you will obey us....you want to obey us.....you will be happy when you obey us.....

Damnit, shouldn't read FoxMulder's posts before fifth coffee.

Lets make some assumptions about the universe...

1. Mathematics is the language of nature

2. Examine the results of any mathematical system, patterns will emerge.

3. With any mathematical system there is always at least one dellusional being that will think he sees god.

Then, what is mathematics?
Can something so organized be really random?
Does anyone know the Anthropic Principle...?:bugeye:

Heb 11:3

Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.

The King James Version

Well, the bible does state the same, at least generally. Take a close look at what's being said.
