Just try. President Bush will no doubt pick up the phone call you make to set up the operation with his massive wiretapping. Next thing you know, it's Guantanamo Bay for you! Or maybe one of those not so secret CIA prisons.

It's looking better and better for the Republicans. The latest poll has Bush at a 47% approval. His highest in a year.

Without Bush as a loadstone around the neck of congressional republicans, the Democrats are in bad shape indeed.

Why would Dems want to inherit the disasters the Bush mafia has created?? Let the REpubs mop up their own shit and defuse their own bombs, Vote Republican=Americans Deserve the Consequences. I am!

They may be up this week for GWB, but you can bet they will go down again in the very near future, especially if they have to send more american solders to fight in Iraq. And from all indications, they are probably going to have to.

Why would Dems want to unravel the Bush mafia mess? Like allowing a child to destroy a house then bring another child in to clean up. Let the Christian Right take responsibility and clean up their own disaster. Vote Republican in November and in '08.

If you don't vote Democratic, the Bushies will never answer for their crimes.

And if you do vote democratic, the donkeys will just make different crimes.
Eh. I figure at this point it would be hard for the democrats to lose on anything more than an extremely local scale... though some seem to be trying awfully hard to prove me wrong on that one.

I want to watch them drive this country into the ground. Only when we have really broken down can an opposition to the religious right be built.

The Democrats can't get out of their own way. Any competent opposition party would have an easy time this election cycle. But I grow more and more confident the Republicans will hold the house and the Senate.

Yep, the democrats are fucking useless in opposition and the republicans are fucking useless in power. This election is about who is the least incompetent.

A mathematical analysis in Slate gives the Dems a 15.4% chance of winning the house.
Later on, they say the chances are between 15.4% and 50% if you assume each race is not independent but that the outcome of one race affects other races.

Remember: Jesus wants the Republicans to stay in power. The Dems have not earned it with their appeasement politics, sucking up to RedState white trash. Keep the Republicans Responsible! Someday they won't be able to blame Clinton.

    Done.

77 percent -- including 65 percent of the Republicans polled -- said they did not believe current members of Congress deserved re-election.

Deserving re-election doesn't mean they won't vote for em to be re-elected. Remember that whole "lesser of two evils" thing?

It makes you wonder how many of the same American voters would vote for GWB if he had the chance to run again. My bet is; 'Not Many'.
