Just be happy I'm a white man and I don't want women to wear a burka.

If we cannot definitely say that there are mental differences between a dog and a wolf, just by using physical characteristics, I believe, we can safely say that there is no mental difference between anyone with different physical traits.

What does your skin color have to do with it?

Take a trip to the Middle East. You're as white as some of them.

By your logic everyone is different from each other mentally. I agree.

    But also unique.
If two creatures display the same physical characteristics, this should not lead us to believe they are similar and group them into categories.

    Why talk about species?
It’s a human prejudice. We use patterns and physical traits to extrapolate general rules of behavior.. How dare we?!!!!

I have a quick technical question about this statement that is slightly off topic, but it is related to this thread in a way-
I was under the impression that most of time people interbred species -IE- like crossbreeding lion and tiger/ass and horse, it resulted in trait merged progeny (mule/liger) that were always sterile. How come this doesn't happen with humans?

Because all people on this planet are the same species. Homo Sapiens Sapiens. (I think one of those Sapiens is supposed to be lowercase.)

Sometimes animals of different species can mate and produce offspring, but often the egg won't even let the sperm in if its chemicals aren't right. Sometimes the sperm gets in, it might get confused and the zygoat will die and nothing will form in the uterus. And very infrequently, if the genes are similar enough, it will produce a sterile offspring. A mule, for example. There are a few others that I can't think of.

Generally interspecies mating doesn't work, however.

It's not a problem for humans, because they're all the same species.

Do you think without the influence of the European white man a woman's quality of life in the world, would be better or worse?

I would suspect because the period of genetic isolation wasn’t sufficiently long enough to result in a new species.
But I’m only feeling my way through this.

You've obviously never seen anyone with down syndrome, I take it. They have very obvious physiological differences that are unique to them, and consistent with everyone that has advanced down syndrome. And this is a mental disorder, and yet it has physical characteristics. The main one is the shape of the skull, especially the lack of slope at the back of the head. Someone with down syndrome can be spotted from a distance, and it was they that contribute to the sad and mean designation of "mouth-breathers" to those with mental retardation.

The fact is, when you change a gene, it doesn't usually change one thing. It has very far-reaching consequences. The reason dogs look different from wolves is because man has selected wolves for docility. Along with docility has come physical wolf traits that resemble a juvenille wolf (which developmentally is where you see docility). The best theories for canine development and evolution is that dogs have evolved, through artificial selection, into a wolf that is caught in a juvenille stage of development. There have been subsequent studies that confirm this. If you selectively breed wolves for timidity, you get the same phyisical traits as a dog. The physiological changes hand-in-hand with the behavioral.

So, I'm sorry to say that the science does not back up your utopian claim that physiology, mentality, and personality are separate. Wanting it to be true, and saying it over and over, will never alter reality. You should look at the science if you want answers, and stick to moral and ethical arguments if you are trying to change the world. But please do not bastardized science for your social agenda.

Yeah, swivel. He was being sarcastic. This is the person who wrote the post "Physique and Character." You gotta watch out for this guy.

This site is intolerant of any frank, realistic discussion of this issue. Another genius leftist plan to censor us all so the globalists can take over by default.

You mean "species." Race is a subdivision of species. Now it's snack time, and then we have a nap, kindergarteners...

    Funny.
    "Utopian"
Another label I can add to my resume.

Short-dicked, momma’s boy, with no sexual experience, no friends. watches too much TV, never, ever reads and has utopian delusions.

That about sums me up nicely.

I called your claim utopian. Not yourself.

You, I like. Your claim (which I have been led to believe was a hoax of some sort) I found retarded.

Not sure if you are having a reading comprehension problem here, or if I just don't get your sense of humor.

    link

This is a link where Philippe Rushton has written a rather long abstract on Lynn's book, "Race Differences in Intelligence: An Evolutionary Analysis." In it, a theory is presented which explains IQ differences between the races -- in particular, why populations in colder, more northern climates have relatively high IQs.

Supposedly, the reason is because the harsher climate is more demanding on the genome. Higher intelligence was needed for humans to find ways of keeping warm and surviving. This higher intelligence could have resulted in more sophisticated tools, homes and clothing and genes that make for hard workers. Living in harsh climates, requires more work to survive than the more temperate ones.
