Yeah, I knew it was either a silver or a king. I knew both were running, but I had totally forgotten which mine was. The ones we all caught didn't get much bigger than that though, and one that dad caught was the same size, but male.

    I'll ask about it.

Nice, but it doesn't seem to be doing much. Can you make it dance?

What's wrong with Wal-Mart? Oh. You used to work there, yes? Probably still have their company song embedded in your brain. They have an enforced esprit de corps there, don't they?

    Disgusting.

    Wulf,

Little bit. But, probably only because my brother's dog has an underbite so I recognize the expression.

Your salmon has an underbite too.

Yea.. I worked there for a year and a half. It sucks. Not that it sucks because I hate working, but because of the kinds of people they have to hire to get anyone to work there.

And that fucking song. I forget how it goes.. but it's like a chant cheerleaders would do at a football game. And we would have to spell "WAL-MART" with our bodies... wiggle our asses on the "-" part.

I would always come to work late or hide just to avoid the daily meeting. It got harder when I was promoted to a supervisor. But the co-managers liked me so I could get away with a few things. He'd just tell the store manager to STFU when she got pissed at me.

The wal-mart I worked at.. it was all about not offending your fellow employees and always treating them with PC language. After a while I quit because I couldn't take it. I took up a job at FedEx because I wouldn't have to deal with morons. In my opinion, FedEx has package handlers with better personalities than do anyone working at Wal-Mart.

But I like the low prices. But those working there don't because of their wage to make prices that low. I was lucky. I had a fairly good pay rate.

I've heard bad things from people about how working there sucks.

    Don't they usually? Haha.

I don't think mine is very severe at all. I can touch the very tips of my upper and lower front teeth together, so I think braces should fix it right up. But then, I don't know much about teeth. I'll just have to see.

It takes a VERY special kind of person to work there. They must have a tolerance for every kind of person in the world and be able to put up with lots of lazy bullshit.

I could handle it for 8 months.. then I got promoted... so it helped a bit (I had more influence on putting blame where it belongs. Usually people will listen to you when you are a supervisor and not just a regular employee.. level 7 versus level 3.).

That's funny that you have pictures of those burritos. Anchorage has a sizeable Mexican population, so we have quite a few decent Mexican restaurants. One of them, Mexico in Alaska, sells their food to local grocery stores. Just a couple days ago I was at the store looking for fresh Mexican food, but they unfortunately didn't have any.

Sometimes I go to Wal-Mart in the hick suburbs of Anchorage to scope for sweet mullets.

You know, when you catch a big king, the best part of it to eat are the cheeks. You cut em out like little fish fillets, then cook em up. Absolutely delicious. Fattier than the rest of the fish, with great texture and none of that manky fish flavor.

Walmart is the enemy. Not some terrorists.

Wal-Mart's awesome. How can you not like every day low prices?

Because nothing that is sold in walmart benefits the local economy.

I had some family visiting the other day and they thought I was crazy that we had such expensive plates and cups. However, it was Finnish design, made in a factory in Finland, by Finnish (and the occasional Russian) workers, distributed by Finnish drivers, sold in Finnish stores, by Fins.

And it's good quality. Not walmart shit.

Shopping at walmart is unpatriotic. They should have prison vans outside walmart and everybody who bought anything there should be shipped to guantanamo. They are terrorists. Trying to bomb your economy.

There are no walmarts here yet. But once they come I will bomb them.

I actually went to one for my birthday dinner. I forget which though. The chicken fajita was very good — better than some Mexican food I've had. And they gave me a bowl of deep-fried ice cream (I think it was deep-fried), and sang me "Feliz Cumpleaños". Going to the restaurant was actually like being back at home, since my area has a sizeable Mexican population too.

I'll talk to my dad and his girlfriend about it.

Tell that to the Republicans, the most "patriotic" of them all.

Why are you going there? What's in Finland?
