The number is obviously exaggerated. This doesn´t change the fact that they have been here much longer then humans and are virtually identical to "the ones found in amber" It is argued that they do not be killed with the blast or radiation. In order to survive longer that few years, ants will be forced to change their way of life. Can they manage that? I don´t know. That is just mean picking on the usage of words. Or are you trying to imply that they do not not use things mentioned?
