Yeah I'm gonna have to go for Star Wars as well. Star Trek doesn't feel like it has any consistency or substance left now that they keep hammering out new Star Trek series every couple of years

Kirk is a classic. Star Trek has a lot of goo dstuff about it.

    Star Wars rocks. Nuff said.

I like both. Star Wars is better for movies, but would royally suck if they tried to make a series of it. So that niche is filled by Trek.

    BTW Inka, groovy avatar.

Well, as long as we're on with the yoda quotes, "do or do not. There is no try." As this kind of limits it to one or the other (as opposed to trying to choose between them) I vote Star Wars. Besides, who other than George Lucas could get away with something as unrealistic as lightsabres? You just gotta respect that.

    oh, and by the way...

For those of you who didn't know (shame shame) the person who did yoda's voice also did the voice of grover on sesame street

I think im about to commit blasphemy here but I really don't like Star Wars. (Thats all of them not just the new one)

I like Star Trek original and Next Generation but not DS9 and Voyager. I have not seen Enterprize.

erm, what class would that be then? Patrick Stewart is good though, but Star Wars is faster, trendier, more stylish I think too. I used to love Star Trek but its generally hogwash nowadays. Same old situations time and time again with lots of disconnected stories vaguely strung together. Star Wars however is a single tale with a rich mythology surrounding it.

Star Trek all the way ...

Not the spin-offs ... The original! Who can resist the Three Stooges
    of the future?

Although a brief flash of Princess Leia as Jobba the Hutt's prisoner
    almost swayed me.

    Take care

Finally some people defend star trek I was getting worried for a minuite.

I don't understand why people think star wars is so great. I agree it has some pretty coool fight scenes but the plot line are no where near as interesting as Star Trek (I do agree that star trek has been bit overdone)

And of course Phantom Menace totaly sucked the rest were ok.

Im not sure but I think that's the definition of a TV show
