I don't mind the idea but in all honesty it will also be a slap in the face to some people

I think there are too many people who would vote against a woman based only on the fact that shes a woman, not any of her political stances, for a woman to be president.

I personally don't want either one of those women.

I want a man or woman who is not a part of the world political machine but really listens to the majority of the people and acts in their best interest and is hard nosed about the budget being in the black instead of in the red.

It's time for us to get off our lazy fat butts, roll up our sleeves and clean house. The citizens are too apathetic, in my opinion.

I hate the apathy of herd instinct. It leads to mediocrity and slaughter.

Sometimes complex things are solved by returning back to the simplicity from which the complexity grew.

If a woman (or a man) had the balls to think this way, the vision and plan to accomplish it and the clout of the true majority of the people, not the media driven perception of the majority of the people, and all elected officials really represented their constituents, I'd vote for her hands down since the men at them moment don't seem to have the courage nor balls to get their shit together and act decisively for the better good of the country.

    Sincerely,
    FW

The problem is that the majority sometime defines their best intrest at the cost of a minority.

    Which necessitates negotiated compromise.

God help us if either Hilary or Condi get in. Take it from me as far as foriegn invasions are concerned they will be far harder than any male presidents as they will go out of their way to prove that they are tough and can act tough in a so called mans politcal world

i dont think that it should really matter whether the candidate is a male or a female, they should be judged equally although i am sure that wont happen for a while
