both universes have their strengths and weaknesses....
who wins in an all out war between the two?
and no, the "alternate cowboy universe" is not a part of the battle.

You can't go wrong with a leader like Zap Brannigan on your side. Plus Professor Farnsworth could engineer some more of his atomic supermen.

Are we pitting cheesy against cheesy now? lol for the record I like both series, but...

Hmmm...assuming that the Doctor has the ability to get help from his previous selves, he'd be a formidable enemy.

How bout if the Doctor goes back in time and prevents the construction of their the main Futurama starship? Or Bender? Or the conception of Professor Farnsworth? Heck the Doctor used the Tardis itself as a self-reintegrating "time-bomb". I'll get the reference and explain some time

Was Dr. Who ever a tv cartoon???

PS who else loves the weapon-toting robot-Ann Robinson that the Daleks used?

In the episode of Futurama called "Roswell that ends well" they travel into the past, so we have a tie here.

Futurama. Civilians can blow planets up for a quarter, as an average every-day leisure experience.
Let's let that sink up for a sec.
They go Death-Star on shit in the manner in which we would go to the zoo for a day.
    I rest my case.

Does Dr Who have the X-factor, the variable of all variables, the inimitable and unstoppable (in spite of himself) Fry?

I ask again, was Dr. Who ever a cartoon? The poll is something of an unfair comparison.

Nevertheless, as a Time Lord, Dr. Who is practically immortal, with the ability to time travel to anywhere and any time at will. That trumps Futurama's one time travel event and their ability to blow up planets for a quarter...since Dr Who can simply remove anyone's technology developments or various discoveries from the plane of existence.

Dr Who is more life-like, not to be confused with Christ-like, asymetric comparison though

    EX-TER-MI-NATE!

In a fight, Futurama would win because they outnumber Dr Who with the number of central characters

Dr who ---the Doctor, a robotic dog, and an interchangable hot chick.

    VS

Futurama-- Fry. Leila, Bender, The professor, Ziodberg, Amy, and Hermes.

Thirteen potential doctors, at least an equal number of companions, and every effing race he has saved in his many decades long career in showbiz. Before this last season, you could also count an entire race of timetraveling immortals.

Thank you Clockwood, you beat me to it

But Rose beats out all the past companions, she's just bada$$.

Chatha, whoever said anything about christ-like? I'm not even religious. I was just saying with time-travel ability at his whim, and regenerative properties, Dr. Who can basically alter anyone's timeline he wants to.

I agree with OpteronGuy tho, I like Dr Who but "tardisodes"?? Very corny and British.

Bender will steal it, and sell it for money. That you can be guaranteed of.
