but the thing is that Gandlaf might have an advantage when it comes to combat because most off his spells are based offensively. While Merlin conjured up many things it doesn't neccessarily mean that Merlin would win in a fight. Gandlaf was also very skillful with the sword so I would say Gandalf would win but you never know what Merlin c an do. I don't know much about him maybe u guys can post something about him using his powers offensively.
look at the spells he used in ROTK . He literally owned everyone he fought. He would blast the dragons to smithereens with the offensive spells he possesses. Watch LOTR and you'll see what I mean. I don't know what its called but there is one where some bolt of somesort jumps out and fries anything. Gandlaf would also be able to shield himself with that spell that he summons a defensive sort of spherical barrier around him. He would fry Merlin to bits.
Oh, I haven't seen ROTK. Also I'm biased in favour of Merlin because my town used to have Merlins Oak. Objection sustained
Gandalf would pwn merlin. Gandalf is stronger offensively. Merlin will conjure a dragon and Gandlaf will just kill the dragon as well as Merlin

Science Fiction doesn't cover fantasy-type stuff. Things that inolve wizards and shit have barely anything to do with science and usually contradict it. SciFi is fiction with science in it. Not magic crap.
