We're not looking for the best song, just the one that is your favorite. I'm a musician so my tastes tend to lean more toward technical analysis and less toward emotional impact than the average person, yet I still love songs like "Rhiannon" by Fleetwood Mac and "Highway to Hell" by AC/DC.

Hey, I guess I missed yesterday so I owe you two. Those are it.

I think there's another thread for best song.

Great choices Fraggle Rocker. I love AC/DC and Fleetwood Mac, though Tusk is one of my all-time favorites by FM.

For me, today: "Orinoco Flow" by Enya and Sinead O'Connor's "Nothing Compares 2 U," a song written by Prince.

I agree: it could only be improved on by cutting the last 16 minutes and have someone ranting about "flatulent hippies" over the top.

I see I'm not the only one with different favorites on different days.

For today, "Suffragette City" by David Bowie. Have to pick him out early, it was he who brought Mrs. Fraggle and me together. In the mid-1970s, when everyone over thirty was compulsively disowning rock and roll ("Oh it's okay for dancing but we much prefer jazz"), we discovered that we both loved Ziggy Stardust.

BTW, I agree with many of you on many of your picks, from "Close to the Edge" to "Hotel California."

One of the only decent songs on Morrissey's new album, unfortunately.

Most notable song of all times: Moskva; Mnogotochie. Now we ought to know this song by heart...a true gem of our lifetime...and perhaps the human civilization. The golden fish finally caught amongst the many other fish.
