after just scanning a sw ship they will have hyper drives,TLs and any other technology AND counters to that technology.

thats what they do.

and this goes back to the AM/FM anology.no frequency modulation puts sw at a HUGE disadvantage.all the amplitude in the galaxy doesnt mean squat if your enemies weapons can be modulated to pass throu your defences.which is what the borg SPECIALIZE in. and they REGENERATE if even 80% of a cube is destroyed.

SDs are outnumbered 100-1 by JUST the borg[10% of the galaxy],what dont you understand about that?


borg cubes are 150X bigger,with LONGER attack ranges,regeneration,adaptive weapons that COUNTER defences,transporters that can beam over thousands of drones in seconds.SW has NONE of these.

all sw has is get within 500KMs and shoot TLs blindly at enemy ships hoping for a hit.

 

thats when the jedi come in. There are jedi that have the power to destroy with only their mind. The borg cube couldn't counter the mind of a jedi. The jedi could blow up the cube using the power of the force through its mind. Star Trek doesn't have anything like that.

 

Mars is once again spoting gibberish. The borg have not shown any superior ranged weapons. The only time you see them firing at something more than 5 km away is at a freaking planet (earth to be precise), their weaponry takes advantage of ST flawed shield designs and their sheld can optimize themselves to repell the firepower of a single Fed GCS. That last fact is impressive untill you take into consideration that Slave-I has better shields and beam weaponry that a Fed GCS and arguably better missles and mines.

The borg do not stand a chance of winning. They can try to delay their own demise, but that is it. One the Empire bloodies the the Hirogen will hunt them to extinction if the Empires doesn't beat them to it.

Your implying the Jedi are godlike and can just think an enemy out of exsistence, however if that were true then what is the point of having the Star Wars movies... couldnt Yoda have just thought all the bad Jedi out of exsistence... or Vader just think the Rebels out of exsistence instead of chasing them around the universe!!!?

And yes in TNG there was an episode where they found a person that made a false reality around him because he couldnt bear the guilt of wiping out a race of people in a moment of anger.


What will happen to the empire when the borg assimilate the jedi academy and the strengths of the jedi are used by the borg? What will happen to the empire when the planet where clones are made becomes assimilated by the borg? What will happen when your ships and your technology become assimilated by the borg.
How will you deal with an enemy that turns your friends into foes, how will you deal with an enemy that does not kill but turns your people into its soldiers.

 

And all those planets all those people all the resources will be assimilated by the borg.

 

Your saying the Empire will kill the Hirogen, and there will be one less race to have to fight against..

The borg would not do that, the borg would assimilate and there would not be a net lost off availible assets to wage war with. You would not have one less race to fight but rather an enemy that has increased its might. How will your SW universe deal with the exponetial growth of the Borg.

 

If any Universe has poorly made tech it has to be SW, look at some of the terrible design choices SW engineers have made.

I think being able to feed your troops, beaming things back and forth, making matter out of energy is pretty useful in war.

Dominination and assimilation of new species is how borg tech evolved. Borg will turn your ships into---- new borg ships, and assimilate wonderful offensive capabilities.

ok shut up with ur borg. the borg are a useless race. Send a massive fleet of destroyers and rebel ships onto the borg and the borg will be destroyed. Plus there was a jedi who can literally turn the tide of the war by thinking. Just purchase Starwars something part one. THeres a new part 2 to it. I forgot what its called but such a jedi did exist in that game. She can obliterate the dam borgs. Ok and since the borgs are machines.
Watch starwars episode 3 . At the end you'll see Darth Vader's anger. Yes only anger destroy robots all around him. That is what will happen exactly to the dam borgs.

Your saying Vaders anger makes a good borg repellant, if he could extend his anger to the whole universe then maybe it would work but until then its just gonna make him seem crazy.
The borg are part machine part biological, vader would make an excellent drone.

The borg is best race to win a war on the universal scale. They have unique abilities that i have pointed out in my previous post acouple of pages back.

I didnt really want to talk about godlike powers cause its a moot point.. Is my god better then your god?

Gather your thoughts together and form a cohesive opinion on what strengths would allow the empire to overcome the threat of the borg. What tatical advantages would the empire/SW universe have over the borg? Dont just cuss and tell me to go watch the movie.

well stars wars do have bases on all planets so they have the capability to lauch an assault fro anywhere in the universe

 

send clone troopers to get rid off the borgs.

 

clone troopers wouldnt be cannon fodder but instead become borg drones.
