yep! it's a fractal,...and with a litlle retouching in photoshop,....I do most of my work in photoshop,...
But 60 by 60 pixels,....is reeaaaally small, huhuhuh,...

GIFs are good for animated images (and to a lesser extent, solid color images).

It depends on what you are trying to display. In these instances, I would recommend a JPEG. GIFs are limited to 256 colors. You can convert a 24-bit true color bitmap to a JPEG (though it will look around 16-bit high color quality if you have exotic colors not near the range of 16-bit palette). GIFs are good for high compression to save space, but they tend to degrade qaulity in good images.

I would recommend a JPEG. Just a sec, I'll cook up some MODded pics for ya.

I would lie if I would tell you I drew it myself. When I resized my own designs to 60x60 pixels they became all blurry, thus I asked a friend to make me one. This is the result. Apparently you don't think it's the best. But hey, who cares - I do! hehehe

I like a avantar when it's clear and personal. I have no clue who is best by this standard. Thus, I don't think my blue Merlin is the most beautyful, but I do believe it's one of the more typical avatars.

Yeah, it's the World Wrestling Federation Symbol. Cactus Jack is a Fomer Pro Wrestler that happens to be a hero of mine. His real name is Mick Foley, heard of him? He's published two books, pretty smart dude. He also wrestled as Mankind, and Dude Love.
