does anybodies system contain a cyclic progression, i.e. 0=7 finality stage is equal to pre-formation.
Remember in all this I'm assuming this is just a sort of general intellectual exercise for fun. I don't know a great deal about cosmology, but I had five or six divisions off the top of my head. I then did a little reading. (I found the wikipedia article on the Big Bang helpful.) This boosted me to as many as ten. My final divisions were based on the idea that the Universe is mainly physics, and so I focused on those changes that made a fundamental physical change. If I was doing it from the standpoint of life, especially intelligent life, and I had to compress this into seven stages, then I would probably merge a couple of the early ones, and expand the last. (Ophiolite has a point, even if he was a bit rude in making it. Although I would divide it even more than he did.) To answer a later question, there isn't anything cyclical about this version. I suppose if the whole thing were later to collapse and then expand again that would give you cycles.
why seven? why not six or nine, or one? why do it at all? was the universe created? or it just changed it's form of manifestation?
it is simply an intellectual exerise as you say. i dont know very much at all about science. i hoped i would get some more input that i could pick peoples brains. i was hoping it may have been more fruitful than is. perhaps exercises are not as interesting as arguments for some people here. what you did is what i hoped i would get form other people too maybe to compare and come some sort of speculative conclusion. not really sure what to do with what i have got. i dont really want it to be my thread where i have to control the debate by goading people to discuss but thanks for your input. there doesnt have to be i was just curios if it could be.
i epxlained in one of my earlier posts why i was trying to stay to 7 stages. and of Oph kind of has it right. the authors of the old testament Genesis where using a seven stage model within the metaphor of the days of creation. my thought was if i could get some back ground on seven distinct stages then maybe i could find a connection and possibly a better understanding of the Days of Creation Myth. why do it? why not! food for thought for the who like to ponder and play with ideas and concepts. what do you think? are these the only two possible means of existence becoming. could the two be the same thing? could the two be more than two things?
what is a New World realtionship? i think there is an order of progression that exists eternally beyond languages, sciences and methporical expression which may be associated or not with some of the ancients philosophical works. i just wanted to try those assocations to see how comfortably they fit.
Two things to consider in this 'exercise'. One. In Genesis, there are only six stages of Creation. The seventh day was rest. Two. The Genesis account was (told) written for people in a late Stone Age, early Bronze Age technology. With that in mind, I would not expect a 'one-to-one' correlation between cosmological history and Genesis. A brief look at the Genesis account: Day One. Light and Darkness. Looks like all the history of the universe is lumped into this one. Day Two. Separation of waters. I have no idea. Day Three. Land and plant life. Day Four. Sun and moon. Day Five. Animal life in sea and air. Day Six. Animal life on land, and humanity. Day Seven. God rests. This is obviously centered on Earth. I think it just as obvious it is allegorical in nature; plant life on Earth could not have flourished without sunlight and so on. I think it had a great meaning for those early peoples who heard the story. Probably mostly in the knowledge everything was made for a purpose, and the entire universe 'fits' together. Certainly, all modern physicists and scientists in general work on the assumption that 'natural laws' are universal; that toilets will flush in a gravitational field anywhere in the universe. That whatever plant life existing in any galaxy requires some form of nutrients and water (or the equivalent). However, to attempt to fit our knowledge and understanding of the history of the universe into this format strikes me as artificial. The Bible's message is about God and God's motivations and dealings with mankind. The Bible is not a scientific text.

1 would be a stage in and of itself 2 & 3-- I figured 2 is its own stage because it's a biproduct of of 1, and 3 is it's own stage because the universe was born from a singularity I put 5 late in the game after 4 because it's probably not likely that black holes formed at an early stage after expansion from the singularity. How would the matter in the universe continue to exist if there was something destroying it while the universe was relatively young and small? 6-- I said it was "The universe so far". I figure 6 is what we see through the telescopes nowadays LOL. I can't conceptualize what the 'end' of the universe would be like, or if there is going to be an end.
7 Steps of Development of Human Life The Pleiadians have learned that the Universe that we live in was created out of the original thought of the Creation.
