Why Is Life Precious?

yes i experience dialated time alot, but that dosent mean im in a different time field to everyone else, maybe i am just having a different experience of the same time, it cant be the year 2000 at the same time as it is 2005,

anyway i dont even believe time exists atall apart from an abstract of human perception to be honest, untill its proven otherwise,

in a symbolic way yes, like ie it might be a eagle to me, and a god to native americans,


but no not really, a spade is still a spade, no matter what somebody thinks it is to them, its still metal and wood for digging,


but something like bieng "precious" is subjective like opinions, because its not a real thing, its an abstact to other things,

say somebody just jumped off of a high rise tower block and killed themselves, obviously life wasnt precious to him, but for anouther person killing themselves is not even ever an option and life is very precious, every moment, like myself i have never once thought about killing myself and never will,

As far as the bold, above, I most assuredly agree! Yet we say ridiculous things despite our 'knowing better', like, "but that dosent mean im in a different time field to everyone else", and, "it cant be the year 2000 at the same time as it is 2005" (which it most assuredly can!)

So, as you are admitting to seeing 'time' to be an abstract of individual human perception (as all perceptions are subjective), are you still argueing for some kind of objective universal (one) 'time' (fits all) or do you yield?

Perhaps, by 'universal' you are meaning 'your' (subjective perception of a) universe?

You seem a bit conflicted between what you sense to be truth and 'something else'.

Did A. Schopenhauer really say that 'truth' goes through three stages?
That 'at first it is vehemently attacked, then it is roundly ridiculed and finally accepted as having been obvious all along!'

 

Bah, life isn't precious. Even if you think it is it isn't, it is just an opinion. I like this quote:

How would 'he' know? He was not 'living'.

 

Life is precious because it can be wonderful at times and it is depend on me.
