I`m fairly new here and want to attach a pic.(jpg).i went thru the motions in the manage attachments button,it said it`s attached but no pic on the post.help please.

Well, you have to link the attachment in your post.

When you have uploaded the image, a link is displayed under additional options. Click on it because it is a link, you get redirected to the picture then. Copy its adress and then include a link in your post with this symbol http://www.sciforums.com/images/editor/createlink.gif. This will create a link to your picture that is accessible for other users.

It should work like this (http://www.sciforums.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=2890&stc=1)

Could I please request you use a space after your punctuation, please? Only so that it is possible to read it. It hurts the eyes otherwise. Thanks.

And if you want the image to be seen in the post click on the following image http://www.sciforums.com/images/editor/insertimage.gif instead of http://www.sciforums.com/images/editor/createlink.gif.
Of course the image has to be somewhere on the internet for all this to work.
