I just made mine up, I've been known to captain various capers, however, in my younger days (thefts, vandalisms, etc.). We'll leave it at that.

I have a habitual pet behavior.

When one dies, and after a sutible mourning time, we go through a long interview process for my next feline companion. They are always black short hairs, always chosen by some unexplained coincidence, and always named after a demon/devil

In this case we have Mephistopheles, or Meph for short.
Well then we all got to watching Kenshi (anime) and I decided he needed a more jappanese name so he became Mephura Catosai (Cat-oh-Sigh)

I just kinda stole it cause i couldn't think up anyhitng else.

I call myself spuriousmonkey because I had a pet monkey once, who was smarter than I was (and still am). I called him 'the professor'. He (the monkey) then used my creditcard to order a domainname for the internet. He has a strange sense of humour because he reserved the domain name www.******************* (http://www.*******************). He knew I wasn't really a monkey (because I am an ape) and he also knew that he was smarter than I was.

Anyhoo...i gave him to science after that. Using my credit card without permission is my limit.

Serendipity, I really don't know where mine came from, it just popped into my head when I needed a username a while ago.

Well, Tigersloth's i made up in the boredom of resistant materials last year, and so it follows i would be the Lord of them, being the only one! :D

Mine is a play on my name, a mixture of my first name minus a letter and my initials.

Mines my middle name. Surely Im not the only one here using one of their real names? But it is very unusual to use it as a middle name not a surname.

Here's an explanation of my name... like you could guess. Hehe.
