me and my friend discovered this crazy thing in the woods in a creek near his house. Pictures to come. It seemed to be many phalluses, about 7 of the of varying lengths, made of the foam stuff that sits on the creek sometimes. thehighest was about a meter/ 3 feet high, brownish cream in color. At their tops they seemed to be bubbling foam... it was so weird.

Sounds like some type of contaminant acting as a surfactant...I've seen smaller foam build up in a creek where there was detergent being dumped higher up in the stream.
