Do you know what the sound of freedom is? fast-beating heart...delusional mind....the images of past life flashing by....dry tears....

The sound of freedom is:

there is none for us to hear here.

Shouldn't that be: NOVUS ORDO SECULORUM? or Novus ordo saeculi...?
Where does "seclorum" come from? (Sorry, we need to be careful, also precious, about language around here)

(Sorry, we need to be careful, also precious, about language around here)Novus Ordo Seclorum is a slogan on the Great Seal of the United States. You can see it printed on the back of every one-dollar bill, on the little pyramid with the eye on top. Secl- is a common contraction of secul- in Latin. It's used to adjust poetic meter. Wiki says this slogan was cobbled together from a passage by Virgil.

BTW, it means "A new order for the ages." It is often translated as "New world order," but that's wrong.

OK, it's another example of "artistic licence", or the elision and contraction mechanism common in spoken languages, like Latin - so that the commonly spoken terminology becomes the written, eventually.
At least that's wot I fink. And I are a Lat. schol...
