check the news agencies!!! (the new one is fake!!!{has no spiritual power})
the gods of new zealand/spirits have been appeazed of this debt AND TO ATTACK NEW ZEALAND will only bring the screams of the tourturouse deaths of your ancestors to bear upon the minds of your children.
this will destroy your culture and the essence of your rithchouse ability to claim spiritual value.

America's Cup Beaten By Political Activist

AUCKLAND, New Zealand (March 14, 1997) — About mid-morning, a 27-year-old Maori man dressed in a suit and tie arrived by black Mercedes taxi at the Royal New Zealand Yacht Squadron.

As they arrived, the yachtsmen left him to it and went over to register for the regatta. The man had a bag on his shoulder and from it pulled a sledge hammer with a shortened handle. Chanting Maori slogans, he immediately attacked the bullet-proof glass casing that protects the Cup.

When Bennett returned, the man was kneeling on the floor mumbling. The man had managed to smash through the Cup case and had pulled the Cup off its plinth and attacked it several times with the hammer.

The damage is extensive, but initial reactions are that it can be fully restored. Garrards, the London silversmiths who made the trophy, still have all the original drawings and it will be sent to London for repair.

The base of the Cup is unscathed, but the distinctive bulb around the centre is badly dented. It appears this part was struck from above as it is pushed down. Also, the graceful top section is badly dented and twisted. In no place is the silver punctured.

The man was arrested, but a group calling itself Tino Rangatiratanga Liberation Organisation sent a fax to the news media, threatening further action and demanding sovereignty for Maori and an end to the "illegal occupation" of New Zealand (Tino Rangatiratanga means sovereignty in Maori).

"The cup has been very, very badly beaten up," Heise is quoted as saying. "He hit it a number of times with a big sledgehammer. It is quite extensively damaged to the main center piece."

Xev....... i dont take high grade(low?) opiates as a spiritual or recreational drug, the body and mind is far stronger than any effect that can be rendered from such 'impending' "addiction".

Couldn't work out what rippleofdeath was nattering about, and I live here..

But these thoughts came to mind.

1) He might be Bennett, and therefore isn't it odd that it was New Zealanders who sold out to Switzerland, who Plundered their own cup, and removed it from NZ. To be defended by New Zealander who are now Swiss??? New Zealanders,.....

course, they sold our for $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ 's in mega amounts.

2) Other explanation. Perhaps this is a maori way of having a go at the twerps who sent letters saying that if there was a war in Iraq, they would target New Zealand.

Praps its his way of saying "Go get England instead..."???

I sleep comfortably tonight knowing NZ is not only nuclear weaponless but also a trophy-free zone.

 

They just claim to be nuclear weaponless, their repeated denials of having weapons of terror is testing the world's patience, but not weakifying our resolvity.

 

Dam write. Mr. G. may want to ignore the problem, but America must attack and occupy New Z-land. If we fail to act decisively, this reprehensible Maori plot to bash all shiny American things worldwide will be out of control. There may be Maori plots to infiltrate boat and autoshows in major American population centers with concealed hammers. The government of NZ has failed to control this threat to Americans interests, for at least some Americans have a passing interest in it, and so it is time for pre-mptive attack and regime change now.

 

Where did this guy come back FROM? This is what I want to know.

The thing about the Cup is, the US held it for something like 127 years straight from memory. The big deal was to get it off them. Australia did that.

The rest of the world are not playing "we can do it" but "we can do it too".
