As much as I want money I would rather be loved. Anyway, I am not much of a cash spender or saver.

I can't imagine anyone choosing to live in a mansion alone, rather than a small house surrounded by a loving family.

Money is a means to an end, and that end for most of us is to have a mate/ companion, and children. We want these things because we have been programmed to by evolution.

The trouble is that evolution has also programmed women to seek out materially sucessful men as mates. So it can be difficult to achieve the goal of a wife and family without money, especially in our culture (U.S.).

Love is far more valuable than money. Without receving and giving love one is essentially alone and while it is true in one sense we are all essentially alone we are also born into a world of others and fulfilling the possibility of care and of appreciation that this confers is part of fulfilling the needs of the thrown souls we are.

I would like to add that with money you can by affection and companionship but never true love. With true love you can always earn money so it is much better to have love for it can't be bought.
