The las time my tv2 woud direct me bak to the sign in page after a period of time (5 to 60 min)... i talked to the tv2 tecks an they tolt me my tv2 was prolly bad... but the nest day it was workin fine... they highly recomend to delete cookies an recents on a regular basis... i do it about once a mounthe.!!! I still have my webtv (LBB) an if i ever do go to computer i will go on the 1-plan wit my webtv.!!!
O yes... somtimes you cant get into e-male cause its "updatin"... but that usualy only lasts a minute or 2.!!! Souns like he ought to talk to the tv2 teck people an tell 'em hes gettin cut off constantly... a couple of times over the pas year ive been re-directed to the sign in page an have to sign in agan... but i thank thats "ther" prollem an not the tv2 box an clears up after a while... an no... all the up-grades was manditory an you cant retrograde... but he coud prolly buy a used 1 for 30 bucks plus shippin (thers a small chanse it will solv his prollems)... can ya use a HDTV as a computer moniter.??? Jus like the webtv box... the tv2 ant a commputer an has its qurks but it works plenty good enuff for me.!!! O... an no ive never had my favorts deleted but ive read its hapened to peopl;e... so i did a cc&p (usin a mouse) of my favorts an stored 'em at 250free in case mine got deleted somtime.!!!
O... somtims the tv2 will shut off mayb couple times a week... but it only takes a minute to reconect an hit the recent key an go bak to whare you was at... an i guess it is slow to load stuff but a lot quicker than webtv.!!!
The reason i finaly switched to the tv2 is because my webtv stoped workin at my Liberry... my personal bank acount... by bosses business acount... sears master card acount... Optum Heath bank acount... Fidelity Investments acount... an the tv2 works grate at all those places so im quite happy wit it at a cost of $16.66 a mounthe... but i will go to computer if those places quit workin wit the tv2.!!! Yes i dont thank tv2 works good for video... but im on dial-up so mayb other people can watch videos at places other than U-Tube.??? Any how... lots of people hate tv2 but im quite hapy wit it.!!!
