Oh yeah, and if we have to, I can create a forum site solely to back up that thread. To give people summaries and all, so people don't have to read the entire thing. I can't do it alone though, take too long so I will prob need your and Fed's help. It is easy to create a free site with a free host that fit my needs, but harder for me to get the story content on there. I will copy and paste the entire thread on there, but I'll need people helping me summarize it.

But, the actual thread will be in this forum, it will just be a support site.

Good luck fixing your modem :D I think it can't be that the signal gets randomly busted ( it happens to every single modem, all internet connections ), because of IP conflictions or just a suddenly weak signal if you chronically have had this problem.

Oh, I have a rent, because we change ours often, high-speed DSL isn't worth it if modem is not peak-shape and up-to-date :D What computer you have? self-built or out-of-the-box? Because if it is an older computer, then network card might be out of the game. Try downloaded the latest drivers just in case :D

Did you rent or buy your modem? If you rented it, then you can request a new one, usually free of charge.

My modem busted out on me a few times as well and I have high-speed DSL :( It happens to any bandwidth, just the modem. Half of the probs are temporary though.

Try to reset the modem and the connector ( reset connector on your end and modem, turn off for at least 10 secs ). Check to see if it is your computer that is busting out on you first though. Modem fails for every provider, every bandwidth, and every computer :(

P.S. Does your comp say no signal or limited access?
