      Coping with myself :p
How's uni going then? Last time we spoke you had some exams you hadn't studied for (ok, maybe that was a bit longer ago than the last time we spoke :p)?

Not so bad guy. How're you?
Guinness (an acquired taste - hated it the first time I ever tried it).

Not yet. She might get banned soon though, but I guess it's really up to her.

Sure thing. But it says "Morally unacceptable universally". I'm not sure whether you decided to let an admin or supermod change it to that instead of "Morally wrong".
I'll change that to "Morally wrong" now if that's not what you wanted, let me know.

All cats are different. I have one who wails and wails, another who never speaks at all, except with his tail, a third who contorts her mouth like old toothless people do and speaks in soft sibilant gasps and a fourth who chirps.

Smother him with kisses. He'll get disgusted if you keep at it and avoid you

Seriously speaking, just talk to the cat. Eventually he will start understanding, thats what I do

I'm interested in human nature and the caricatures of them :p

I recommend The Reader instead. Although, it too deals with individuals, its a more honest look at the banality of evil

What does it need to gain credence for?

I'm more curious why it was picked for a class rather than a more sophisticated read, like Sophie's choice/

Breeders often resort to inbreeding in order to keep the race pure. A lot of bred races are inbred and have genetic disorders.
It's not the cats fault of course.

I'd say excessive aesthetic (in)breeding comes at a price.

Well, it's true. However, I don't think all cats with blue eyes are deaf. I think they just have a high chance of being deaf.

Challenger: How exactly does one go about "moderating" free thoughts.
I assume I get first dibs on being banned?
      - I don't think I saw/replies to this post of you yet. It seems you posted it on your own wall :p
Yea, it's a bit precarious, after all it's Free Thoughts. I think I'll just focus on insults etc.

Challenger: Dude. Blue eyed cats are usually born deaf. I feel so sad now. To have such beautiful eyes and suffer so horribly.
      - Your cat is deaf? :(

My wife is the lit. major in the family so she buys most of the books. There seems to be plenty of sci-fi, my favorite genre but one she doesn't delve into. But we both notice that since e-books are a new technology, the vast majority of the world's books simply haven't been uploaded yet. This is particularly true of books that were published before the Information Revolution and are not on file in some corporation's data bank.

The majority of the offerings are from American publishers. The Harry Potter series, for example, just isn't there, so I still have to carry those forty-pound tomes on the subway.

Clearly this is just a matter of waiting for the world to catch up with work that is not easily automated. Come backin ten years and the Kindle library will be impressive. And Kindles will be $25 instead of $300.

Yes, I have a Kindle. Got it last Christmas. Get my daily newspaper, one magazine, and a few books so far. I do most of my reading on the subway and it's perfect for that. My only real complaint is that the comics don't fit the screen so I have to get those off the newspaper website, which is sometimes infuriatingly slow.
