Authors/publishers get 70% of the cost of a Kindle book in royalties, as long as they price the book between $2.99 and $9.99. Not sure why he's only getting $0.50.

I just downloaded your first book to my Kindle (actually, the kindle ap on my droid x). I read the first few chapters a while back when you emailed them to me. Looking forward to finishing it.

PS I spoke with an author today and he said he only gets 50 cents from each sale of his book on the kindle, is that true?

Hey, I just wanted to thank some of the ppl for posting on my thread awhile back. I never returned till recently and the advice was great. I didn't realize the ppl here where so great. I assumed after I posted my post no one was going to reply cause I had like one reply in a half hour, I was very wrong indeed. I may hang around here more often. Thanks a bunch <3

Do you think you could give me the names to some of your books so I could check them out?

Hey Swivel ! You want to join my martial arts group so I don’t feel like such a looser being the only one on it.
Not that I can see any reason why anyone should any of those social groups!

Thanks, Challenger. Both short stories definitely need more polish, more meat. I'll try and take your input into account when I edit them up for an anthology (probably be a year before I have enough for that).

Hey, Read your story, "The automated ones", good ethical discussion, and passionate too. To quote V for Vendetta, Artists use lies to tell the truth. That fictional story, like so many others exposes the hypocrisy at heart of the human condition. Melanie could use a little more passion though, perhaps a profanity, or an outward sign that she is angry or disturbed. But hey, I might be the only one that needs profanity to feel outraged.
